[name]Leah[/name] - NMS, but lovely all the same.
[name]Violet[/name] - In my opinion, I think this would be a hard name to grow up with. Itās cute for a little girl, but I canāt imagine 20-year-old [name]Violet[/name] looking for a job. I would choose [name]Viola[/name] instead.
[name]Ruby[/name] - Cute, but same as my comment for [name]Violet[/name]: hard name to grow up with and take seriously on an adult.
[name]Iris[/name] - Beautiful. [name]One[/name] of my favourite names, [name]Iris[/name] is elegant and sophisticated, but a little bit spunky as well.
[name]Nora[/name] - I like this as a nickname for [name]Eleanor[/name] or [name]Honora[/name]. Itās cute, but needs a name with more substance to back it up.
[name]Samantha[/name] - I like it. Itās popular, but not overused, and is always a good choice. Classic and intelligent are the words that come to mind.
[name]Vivian[/name]/[name]Vivienne[/name] - First off, I prefer the [name]Vivienne[/name] spelling, as it sounds more exotic to me. I think this is an amazing name, and also a good substitute for [name]Violet[/name]. Great choice!
[name]Avery[/name] - This is the kind of name that I think is more geared towards boys, but when I see it on a boy, I find it too girly. With unisex names, you need to find a happy medium, and [name]Avery[/name] is not it.
[name]Nina[/name] - I adore this name for personal reasons, and I disagree with those who think that itās too dated. I think itās classic and sweet and perfect for a little girl AND a grown woman.
[name]Gemma[/name] - I love this name as a substitute for jewel names (ie [name]Emerald[/name], [name]Sapphire[/name], etc.) but I think that itās better suited in the middle spot. Still, itās a great choice!
[name]Honour[/name] - I do like this name, but I would definitely prefer [name]Honora[/name] or [name]Honoria[/name]. Iām not a big fan of virtue names, and I think [name]Honour[/name], although beautiful, is very pressured. If you were to use [name]Honour[/name], I would spell it [name]Honor[/name] because I come from [name]Canada[/name] and taking the āuā out makes it seem less word-y.
[name]Evangeline[/name] - [name]LOVE[/name]. I am incredibly taken with this name and I would love to see more little [name]Evangeline[/name]'s! Perfect, and I adore the NN [name]Evie[/name] or [name]Angeline[/name], or even [name]Eva[/name].
[name]Mila[/name]/[name]Camila[/name] - [name]Don[/name]'t like [name]Camila[/name], but I do like [name]Mila[/name], if pronounced MY-LA.
[name]Julia[/name] - I like this name. I would use it on my children, if it werenāt already a common name in my family.
[name]Lucia[/name] (loo-shuh) - Definitely prefer the LOO-SEE-[name]AH[/name] pronunciation. [name]Love[/name] the NN [name]Lucy[/name].
[name]Valentina[/name] - [name]Love[/name] this! I think itās adorable, and I love the NN [name]Tina[/name] or [name]Val[/name].
[name]Marina[/name] - On of my less common favourites. I fell in love with it after reading the [name]POem[/name] ā[name]Marina[/name]ā by TS [name]Eliot[/name]. [name]Lovely[/name] name.
[name]Beatrix[/name] - Hm, Iām kinda on the fece with this one. I feel like I should like it, but I kinda donāt want to. Not too sure about it.
[name]Adele[/name] - Beautiful, gorgeous, amazing name. However, Iām afraid that it might see a sudden increase in popularity because of the singer [name]Adele[/name]. Sigh.
[name]Ophelia[/name] - A lovely Shakespearean name, albeit a tad dated today. [name]Lovely[/name] all the same.
[name]Linnea[/name] - I like this name. Alot. NMS, but I still like it.
Great list, keep adding to it!
