We are slowly narrowing down our list of names.
So far we have decided on a couple of boy combos. What do you berries think of:
[name]Angus[/name] [name]Quinn[/name]
[name]Callum[/name] [name]Oscar[/name]
As for girl combos we are tossing round the idea
[name]Eloise[/name] [name]Clover[/name]
However we are struggling with another choice. Can you help with suggestions? We really like the name [name]Amelia[/name] but can’t decide on a one syllable mn. We also like [name]Aster[/name], [name]Clementine[/name] and [name]Hazel[/name].
We don’t know if we are having a boy or girl but would like to settle on 2 options for each with the final decision being made when we meet the little one.
I really like both of the boy combinations. [name]Eloise[/name] [name]Clover[/name] is very sweet. [name]Eloise[/name] has really grown on me. I love [name]Amelia[/name] and think it sounds great paired with [name]Joy[/name], [name]Claire[/name] and [name]Jane[/name]. I like [name]Clementine[/name] the best of your other girl names.
other ideas-
[name]Amelia[/name] [name]Rae[/name]
[name]Amelia[/name] [name]Tess[/name]
[name]Amelia[/name] [name]Joyce[/name]
[name]Amelia[/name] [name]Faith[/name]
[name]Amelia[/name] [name]Faye[/name]
I really like [name]Angus[/name] [name]Quinn[/name], but I’m not really a fan of [name]Callum[/name]. [name]Angus[/name] is so handsome.
I do really like [name]Eloise[/name] [name]Clover[/name]. As for [name]Amelia[/name], if I had to choose a one syllable middle name for it, I, myself, would probably choose [name]Amelia[/name] [name]Jean[/name]. Or maybe [name]Amelia[/name] [name]Jane[/name]. I really think [name]Amelia[/name] [name]Jean[/name] is perfect. [name]Amelia[/name] is so classic and beautiful, while [name]Jean[/name] gives it some adorable southern charm. [name]Amelia[/name] is in my top five and I often find myself thinking of [name]Amelia[/name] [name]Jean[/name]. I like [name]Hazel[/name] also though. It’s regularly in a middle name spot for me. Maybe [name]Amelia[/name] [name]Jean[/name] or [name]Hazel[/name] [name]Jane[/name].
I like both [name]Angus[/name] and [name]Callum[/name] but while I like the name [name]Oscar[/name], I think a one-syllable middle like [name]Quinn[/name] sounds better with a two-syllable first name. [name]Eloise[/name] [name]Clover[/name] is adorable. While [name]Amelia[/name] is a lovely name, I would steer you to something a bit more distinctive – in the US, both [name]Emily[/name] and [name]Emma[/name] have been number ones in recent years and in the UK, [name]Amelia[/name] is the current number one. [name]Aster[/name], [name]Clementine[/name] and [name]Hazel[/name] are all more unusual and to me, more appealing, with [name]Clementine[/name] my personal favorite of the three.
I really like [name]Angus[/name] [name]Quinn[/name], and [name]Callum[/name] [name]Oscar[/name] is nice. [name]Eloise[/name] [name]Clover[/name] is lovely!
A one-syllable middle name I like with [name]Amelia[/name]:
[name]Amelia[/name] [name]Maeve[/name]
I liked [name]Callum[/name] [name]Oscar[/name], but I said it a few times and it started sounding a little like calamari, I like them, but probably not together. [name]Angus[/name] [name]Quinn[/name] gets my vote!
[name]Eloise[/name] [name]Clover[/name] is beautiful, I love it. I really love [name]Clover[/name] in the middle. I wouldn’t go for [name]Amelia[/name] up front, personally, because it’s been done to death in the US. If you really really love it and the popularity doesn’t phase you, maybe something like [name]Amelia[/name] [name]Wren[/name], [name]Amelia[/name] [name]Joy[/name] or [name]Amelia[/name] [name]Faye[/name] would be something that catches your eye?
[name]Angus[/name], [name]Quinn[/name], [name]Callum[/name] and [name]Oscar[/name] all nice firm consonants (g, q, hard c, hard c). [name]Clover[/name] shares the same firm feeling (thought the meaning and association are very sweet and feminine). “[name]Amelia[/name]” is all softness, and is much more popular than your other choices, which is perhaps why subconsciously you’re not as wild about it.
What do you think of:
[name]Augusta[/name]
[name]Garnet[/name]
[name]Margaret[/name] or any of its variants
[name]Annika[/name]
[name]Bianca[/name]
[name]Calandra[/name]
[name]Camille[/name]
[name]Aquila[/name]
Or if you want the Celtic vibe that [name]Angus[/name], [name]Callum[/name] and [name]Quinn[/name] all share:
I really like [name]Callum[/name] and [name]Eloise[/name]. Unfortunately when I hear [name]Angus[/name], all I hear is “where’s the beef”? But, I really, really like [name]Callum[/name] and [name]Eloise[/name].
Thanks everyone for the positive feedback. I’m so glad to hear you agree we are on the right track. I’m loving the idea of [name]Clementine[/name] [name]Hazel[/name] as our girl back up name. Thanks again Berries!
