I’m not too big on the middle name, but I love [name]Roman[/name]! The combo makes me think ‘Romans, [name]Prosper[/name]!’ It has a good flow but prosper isn’t a name to me.
Not a fan of the middle, but love [name]Roman[/name]. We’re using it
Honestly, I think it’s overused. However, it’s overused because it’s popular, it’s popular because people love it and if you love it then…that shouldn’t matter
I’ve discarded a fair few names that I like because they are common at the moment, which has been hard (some I loved dearly when I was younger), but I always appreciated having an unusual name growing up and not being one of several in a class etc. and would prefer a similar experience for my kids.
[name]Prospero[/name] is a pretty awesome alternative to [name]Prosper[/name] (though probably not to everyone’s taste), great call elliebean13!
Firstly, it seems like noun + verb. Second, with both having the same syllables there’s a monotone quality especially if you have a 2 syllable last name (ex [name]Roman[/name] [name]Prosper[/name] [name]Johnson[/name]) having a 2-2-2 count. Why don’t you go with a one or three syllable middle depending on your surname.
This is exactly what I was thinking.
[name]Roman[/name] is very sexy, I like it a lot! I’m not crazy about [name]Roman[/name] [name]Prosper[/name] though, for the reason clever Celianne said. [name]Roman[/name] [name]Prospero[/name] would be cool though.
I love how Prospero was mentioned@elliebean! I am actually loving that a lot more than Prosper. I think it adds a cool vibe to the name Roman which I love right now and have never met one IRL so i am not worried about popularity. I had know idea this name exists. I love it and am totally sold!
@Ottilie- thank you! I am loving all your names for your future little one btw
@elliebean- good suggestion!
@[name]Otilie[/name]- thank you! I am loving all your names for your future little one btw!
I like [name]Roman[/name], but not keen on [name]Prospero[/name]. But if you love it, use it. I assume it has some nice meaning?
It means favorable, and is the Italian variation which I like as well since I am 100% Italian. I just feel with middle names you can get away with a lot since they are rarely said. And I know it is not everyone’s style but I like different and unique. Kind of dance to the beat of my own drum.
@theclocktowerofjoy - It means favorable which I love and is the the Italian variation of [name]Prosper[/name] (added bonus since I am 100% Italian). I also did some research after it was suggested I feel you can go wild in the middle spot since middles are never mentioned. I know it is not everyone’s style but I like different and unique. Kind of dance to the beat of my own drum. All our boy combos have a normal type first name I guess you could say and we have fun with the middle spot.
I like [name]Roman[/name]. I liked [name]Rowan[/name] but wouldn’t use it because it is too unisex so [name]Roman[/name] is a good. I don’t really love the mn but it really doesn’t matter ;). GL
I have never really been a fan of [name]Rowan[/name]. Maybe because I knew a little boy with that name so that’s all I picture. I know the middle is not everyone’s style. Probably most names on my list aren’t haha
