[name_m]Sebastian[/name_m] is my pick because of [name_m]Henry[/name_m]'s recent popularity spike (but I think either one would work well in your case).
I like it. I knew a baby [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m] years ago. He’s now about 11 years old. I know at least a couple of little Henrys at the moment, too.

I do like [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m], but really love [name_m]Henry[/name_m]! I’m not sure if it’s just me, but I personally go through real phases of hating and then loving names, only to go off them again quite quickly - obviously I’m not saying that you don’t love [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m], but I think that if [name_m]Henry[/name_m] has been your top boy name for a while then you are sure that you absolutely love it. However, only you and your husband know, of course, and both options are incredibly handsome and classic names - I’m sure you’ve thought about it, but [name_m]Bastian[/name_m] might be an option if [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m] is too long with your surname? Good luck!
I really like [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m]. We have friends planning to name their new baby that. The father is Colombian and says that the nickname for [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m] in [name_f]Colombia[/name_f] is Sebas, which I thought was very nice. I like Bash and [name_m]Baz[/name_m] as nicknames for it as well. [name_m]How[/name_m] perfect is Bash for a two year old boy?
Think outside the POPULAR BOX!! This is one of the top names right now! Why do you want your child to be one of 5 [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m]'s in their class? [name_f]Do[/name_f] you really want to have your child to come home going mommy I have 4 other boys in my class with my name! There are a billion names out there. Why not try going to the Social Security website and put in a name even this name and see how popular it was last year. Have your child be a bit different. I think they would love to be the only … in class. As supposed to when everyone was naming their boys and girls, [name_u]Dakota[/name_u], Or the whole [name_u]Bailey[/name_u] generation. Oh and who can forget about the generation of sams and max’s. Please just look at the Social Security website before you go popular.
I’m having a hard time getting over my association with the crab, too. However, I have to side with Entangler in that [name_m]Henry[/name_m] has always felt very pretentious and yuppie to me. I can’t bring myself to picture it on a happy, slide-climbing, monkey bar swinging five-year-old; the only image [name_m]Henry[/name_m] conjures is that of His [name_u]Majesty[/name_u] and his many doomed wives. Given these choices, I have to pull for [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m] by a long shot.
As an added bonus, I feel like it still manages to hold onto a lot of its shine. People won’t be expecting [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m] quite as much as [name_m]Henry[/name_m].
