I love it -
but as child of the 80s and it reminds me of the car [name]KITT[/name] ([name]Knight[/name] Industries Three Thousand) from [name]Knight[/name] [name]Rider[/name]. Though that’s still a pretty kick-ass car/association in my mind.

I like the name for a boy but I love it for a girl (I am probably in the minority here).

I would assume it was a girl if I heard the name. I think it is because of the girly nn [name]Kitty[/name], or possibly because there is an American Girl [name]Doll[/name] by that name. Despite all of that I don’t completely dislike it either.

I love it, for a boy or girl. I would love to use it as a nn for either. I would like it as a full name too, but I would worry that if my son didn’t like it, or got called [name]Kitty[/name] too many times, he wouldn’t have another option to fall back on, except maybe a middle name. On the right kid, it could work great though. I still voted that I love it, cause I do, but the main concern is if your son will love it. [name]Just[/name] some food for thought.

I would assume girl if I heard it because of the American Girl doll: [name]Kit[/name] Kittredge. So I voted I don’t like it since it would be hard for a boy unless there was a full name he could lean back on.

If i heard [name]Kit[/name] and knew it was the whole name, I’d be likely to assume it was a girl, but I do love it but as a nickname for [name]Christopher[/name] (like [name]Christopher[/name] [name]Marlowe[/name] whose my favorite Playwright. )

I think [name]Kip[/name] would work better. [name]Kit[/name] is immediately feminine in my mind for whatever reason.

I really love [name]Kit[/name] for a boy! It’s alright on a girl, but really on a boy it is too cute. And, I grew up with [name]Kit[/name] Kittredge, so I don’t think everyone would assume it is feminine. I think a full name is needed to fall back on, though I am not sure what. I’ve been searching for a good full name, but can’t find one. Not fond of [name]Christopher[/name] either.

Good luck!
