What do you think of the name Adalia?

I’m curious to know what people think of the name [name_f]Adalia[/name_f]? [name_m]How[/name_m] would would pronounce it? [name_f]Do[/name_f] you think it goes well with the middle name [name_f]Grace[/name_f]? And lastly, would [name_f]Ada[/name_f] make sense as a nickname? I grew up with my name mispronounced and I’d hate to do that to my daughter but I love the name.

i like it with [name_f]Grace[/name_f] but i prefer [name_f]Odelia[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f] to [name_f]Adelia[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f]

Well, let’s see. I like [name_f]Adalia[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f] together. I pronounce it ah-dah-lee-uh, so the nn [name_f]Ada[/name_f] doesn’t work here for me…

I honestly much prefer [name_f]Adelia[/name_f] or [name_f]Odelia[/name_f] though. The [name_f]Dalia[/name_f] ending sounds harsher than delicate [name_f]Delia[/name_f]…

I would pronounce it ah-DAH-lee-ah, but I don’t think nn [name_f]Ada[/name_f] is too much of a stretch

At first glance, I’d pronounce it ah-DAH-lee-uh - lovely! I think [name_f]Ada[/name_f] would make a lovely nickname, and [name_f]Grace[/name_f] a pretty middle.
