What do you think of the name Cressenico?

Cressenico is the name of a student that attends the school that I am currently enrolled in and I just recently fell in love with this name.
He pronouces it Cress enico. This isn’t an actual name in the name database, I already checked behindthename and it’s not listed on this site. But that doesn’t really bother me. Be completely honest.

Cressenico is magical and gorgeous in theory, but is a bit too much, gilding the lily. It sounds like a character in a fantasy story. [name_f]Cressida[/name_f] for a girl is much more wearable. It feels Latinate- Spanish or Italian especially- because of the -nico ending.

Thanks for you opinion.

I never actually considered naming child this, considering the fact that I wouldn’t want my kid to constantly correct people on how his name is pronouced. I will, however, save Cressenico for a future story.

I think it might be Latinate because the student’s surname is of Spanish orgins.
