It does have a repetitive ain sound if you’re pronouncing [name_f]Elaina[/name_f] as ee-lay-na but I like the vibes

I like it in theory, but it’s a bit repetitive for my tastes. :slight_smile: Maybe [name_f]Elena[/name_f] (el-en-uh) or [name_f]Eliana[/name_f]?

Elaina [name_u]Rain[/name_u] is rhymey but not unusable. I quite like it.

Eliana [name_u]Rain[/name_u], [name_f]Elara[/name_f] [name_u]Rain[/name_u], [name_f]Elaina[/name_f] [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] and [name_u]Ember[/name_u] [name_u]Rain[/name_u] came to mind

At first glance it looks nice but when saying it and continuing to look at it the “ain” just seems like way too matchy/repetitive. [name_f]Elena[/name_f] could be a quick alternative but I would overall likely decide which one is the keeper [name_f]Elaina[/name_f] or [name_u]Rain[/name_u] and just brainstorm a new one altogether.

Im sorry, I do not like it either.
The repetition of the Æyn sound does not sound pleasant to my ear.

Can you give us an idea of what baby’s LN will be like, so we can suggest things that will flow well all together?

I like it. I find the repeated ai sound a bonus rather than a problem. I like this spelling of [name_f]Elaina[/name_f] very much.

I really like it. I also think if a middle name feels right for you then go for it! If you think of your 10 closest guy/girl friends how many of there middle names do you know?

My husband likes the name rain he wasn’t liking [name_f]Elaine[/name_f]

He didn’t like [name_f]Elaine[/name_f] but he likes rain I’m ok changing the first name we don’t want to change the middle name
