I posted a forum earlier but forgot to include one of my favourite names. We are expecting our third baby and wanted to know your opinion on the name [name_f]Olivia[/name_f].
We both love the name and we aren’t telling anyone until she is born but still wanted opinions on the name. [name_f]Do[/name_f] you think the name is elegant and classy sounding? She will probably go by the nickname [name_f]Liv[/name_f].
We have 2 sons already named [name_u]Tyler[/name_u] and [name_u]Alex[/name_u] ([name_m]Alexander[/name_m], but he ALWAYS goes by [name_u]Alex[/name_u]). [name_f]Do[/name_f] you feel that [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] fits in with her brothers’ names?
I am Russian and in [name_f]Russia[/name_f] it is tradition for a child to have the fathers name as the middle name but if its a boy you add ovich to the end and if its a girl you add evna to the end. So her middle name will be Markevna and her brothers’ middle names are both Markovich.
Also our last name is Seguin so her full name would be [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] Markevna Seguin.

I think that sounds very pretty, feminine and classy. [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] is a name that works well for all ages, and the few I’ve met are smart, sweet and cute little girls so I have good connotations. I don’t think you can go wrong, and it does go well with [name_u]Tyler[/name_u] and [name_u]Alex[/name_u].
I do see [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] as an elegant and classic sounding name. It is extremely popular, you are totally aware of that and it’s not like [name_u]Tyler[/name_u] or [name_m]Alexander[/name_m] ([name_u]Alex[/name_u]) are super unique names, so I think it goes really well with them. Her full name is lovely. Your daughter wouldn’t have a common middle or surname at all so I think [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] works fine.

[name_f]Olivia[/name_f] is a lovely name, wearable and versatile, I can see it on any kind of girl. [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] Seguin/[name_f]Liv[/name_f] Seguin is really catchy, it’s spunky and fun and has a great ring to it. I could see a movie star with that name, the talented, socially conscious and beautiful but down-to-earth kind, not the crazy scandal-ridden kind! [name_u]Tyler[/name_u], [name_m]Alexander[/name_m] “[name_u]Alex[/name_u]” and [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] “[name_f]Liv[/name_f]” go together really well.
BTW, is [name_f]Katia[/name_f] your real name? I’ve always thought it’s lovely 
Her full name is beautiful! I think it goes well with her brother’s names too. I definitely think the name sounds elegant and classy, especially with the unique middle name.

Yes, it is my actual name and it’s quite popular in [name_f]Russia[/name_f] so I never really liked it but since I moved to [name_f]Canada[/name_f] I’ve never met anyone with the same name so I love it now
I loved it for years and it’s still a beautiful name.
I’ve just taught so many of them that to me it is threadbare, like [name_f]Ella[/name_f] or [name_f]Emma[/name_f].
BUT! If it is not threadbare to you (teaching is a hazard!) then use it. It is a classic.
