What do you think of the name Raven?

[name]Do[/name] you like the name? Does it only suit black-haired women, or can blondes pull off the name as well? What do you think of [name]Raven[/name]?

I’m personally loving it at the moment <3

I love the name [name]Raven[/name] too - but I do think only dark-haired gals can pull it off. If it’s likely you’ll have a brunette then I say go for it!

I think it’s best on dark-haired babies. The [name]Raven[/name] I personally know has jet-black hair.

It is a cute name. I personally think anyone can pull it off and you don’t have to have dark hair. Pretty name!

I personally don’t like the name [name]Raven[/name]. But I don’t like any bird names or most word names on children. Lol

I think that blondes can pull [name]Raven[/name] off! [name]Jennifer[/name] [name]Lawrence[/name] was a blonde when she played a character named [name]Raven[/name] in X-Men: First Class and I thought she wore it well there. I get the appeal of the sound of [name]Raven[/name], but it sounds very dated to the early 90s to me.

I love it on a boy. I dislike it on a girl even though I know two women named [name]Raven[/name], one spells it [name]Ravyn[/name], the other [name]Ravin[/name].

It’s nms but it’s okay. I actually know two girls by this name…one is named [name]Raven[/name] [name]Winter[/name] (she is a brunette–age 17) the other is [name]Rayven[/name] [name]Lynn[/name] (a blonde–age 11).

I can’t imagine a blonde with the name, sorry, but the name isn’t my style. I don’t understand why people would name their kid after an ugly black raven… but that’s just my opinion, I guess someone might find those birds cute…

I love it - although I think you would need dark hair to pull it off. I’ve got to say, though, that upon hearing the name my first thought was “That’s So [name]Raven[/name]”. I think after meeting your little girl, the image would fade.

My husband adores the name. I am still deciding how I feel about it. He’d love if I agreed to use it, but the chances are our kid would have dark hair.

I love it, but I only think dark haired girls are “meant” for it. It’s too obvious in meaning.

dark hair is the dominant gene, so if one of you have it, your kid will most likely have dark hair.

My name is [name]Raven[/name] and I have always gotten compliments on it. As an adult I have lighter brown hair that was very blonde as a small child so I really don’t think it matters what color your daughters hair is =)

Personally I prefer [name]Ravena[/name]. It’s pretty but [name]Ravena[/name] just seems more wearable and interesting.

This is exactly what I needed to hear to make myself feel better about the name  I don’t know if I’ll use it one day, but at the moment I really do love this name <3
