What do you think of the name Remedy? nn could be [name]Remi[/name].
I like [name]Remi[/name] as just a stand alone name. Remedy sounds a little off to me but [name]Remy[/name] is cool.
As in a cure for a disease? Ehh. Of all the nouns we could turn into names, I’m not sure this is the most flattering.
[name]Remy[/name] works just fine on its own! It has a certain spunk to it, while Remedy feels a bit heavy and … well, sickly.
[name]Love[/name] the nn [name]Remi[/name] and I understand the appeal of remedy, it has a lovely sound, but I couldn’t see it as a name for a child. [name]How[/name] about [name]Remember[/name] nn remi?
[name]Hi[/name]! I second the previous posts, and I love the suggestion of [name]Remy[/name]. You may also like [name]Romilly[/name] or [name]Rosemary[/name], nn [name]Romy[/name]. If you’d like a Colonial name, some other names (it additon to the suggestion of [name]Remember[/name]) you may like are [name]Verity[/name] and [name]Mercy[/name].

I’m not the biggest fan of word names, but I can still single this out as a bad one. I can see how it’s supposed to be a positive word, but it comes off as strange and not pleasant at all.
I expect there are some other word names you like?

I know I’m not in the majority but I honestly think it works!
It has familiar sounds in it (ala [name]Remy[/name]) so it doesn’t sound strange to my ears. It is also ultimately a positive word even if some people do associate it with sickness.
Remedy:
To cure, relieve, or heal.
To restore to the natural or proper condition; put right: to remedy a matter.
It’s not something I would personally consider but I think it’s kind of cool and certainly a unique word name possibility!
Thank you. I saw a couple of little girls with the name Remedy on a different site and it just struck me as a very different kind of a word name. Probably would never use it in real life but I was curious what other people thought of it.
