What do you think of the name Rosen for a girl?

It is a Cornish name that means [name_f]Rose[/name_f].

[name_m]Just[/name_m] wondering about people’s general opinion as there isn’t much online.

Thank you!

I quite like it - and just to note, I’m not usually that fond of any ‘rose’ variations (just not my style).
I think it’s quite intuitive on pronunciation - it might confuse people at first when said aloud, but it makes sense on paper.

What I saw online was it listed as a Bulgarian name (was a former president) & as a Jewish/[name_m]German[/name_m] surname.

I love the way it looks but I’m not sure of the pronunciation
is it ro-[name_m]SHEEN[/name_m], ro-SHEN or ROH-shen?
All of those sound attractive to me anyway to be honest!

I think it’s beautiful! I’d just say “[name_f]ROSE[/name_f]-un” - is that right?

I love it! But I prefer the spelling Rozenn (The name Rozenn comes from [name_f]Brittany[/name_f], in [name_f]France[/name_f]) because it makes the pronunciation more clear.

[name_f]Rosen[/name_f] is a very typical Jewish last name meaning “roses”.

In [name_m]German[/name_m], [name_f]Rose[/name_f] (pronounced rosa) = rose and [name_f]Rosen[/name_f] = roses

I really like it! One of my favorites right now is [name_f]Rosanna[/name_f] (pronounced [name_f]RoseAnna[/name_f]), and all of the rose names are calling to me

Anyway, [name_f]Rosen[/name_f] is great because it gives [name_f]Rose[/name_f] a little something extra, without being too frilly.

I like it quite a lot. It’s sweet but not too saccharine.

I quite like it!

I think it’s beautiful!

It’s different and I like it. There’s a building at my alma mater university called “[name_f]Rosen[/name_f] School of…” and it was pronounced [name_f]Roz[/name_f]-in.
