It is not popular where I live and I just really like the name. What kind of personality do you see this person as having?
[name_u]Love[/name_u] the name, but it IS the top name globally. It will catch on:)
I love [name_f]Sofia[/name_f]! It’s almost an honor name, for me, in a way, because my little sister’s name in Spanish class was [name_f]Sofia[/name_f].
I have it on my list ([name_f]Adele[/name_f] [name_f]Sofia[/name_f] [name_u]Eloise[/name_u] in particular) in her honor. I love how international it is, too. I love it so much more than [name_f]Sophia[/name_f], which doesn’t have as much spunk, for me. I had thought, in my list revamp, to try to give her a spot as a FN, since I was loving her SO much, but the more I think of it, the more [name_f]Sofia[/name_f] feels like a MN name for me–it may have something to do with the fact that my coworker has a [name_f]Sofia[/name_f]. She’s adorable, and I like my coworker, but it just doesn’t feel as one-of-a-kind (not that it really was–I mean, it’s [name_f]Sofia[/name_f]. It’s rabidly popular in dozens of countries around the world, haha, from [name_f]Italy[/name_f] to the US to South [name_u]America[/name_u] to Scandinavia to [name_f]Russia[/name_f]). I am beyond in love with [name_f]Adele[/name_f] [name_f]Sofia[/name_f] [name_u]Eloise[/name_u] on my own list, though!
[name_u]Love[/name_u] love [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] [name_f]Sofia[/name_f]! I’ve been drifting closer to the more familiar style of names, and [name_f]Sofia[/name_f] is one of my favourites. I imagine an outdoorsy, creative person
.
It’s super popular but I really like it. I personally prefer the spelling [name_f]Sophia[/name_f] but [name_f]Sofia[/name_f] is still very pretty.
I really like this name. Gorgeous sound, meaning, and my first association is [name_f]Princess[/name_f] [name_f]Sofia[/name_f] of [name_u]Sweden[/name_u] who I think is really cool.
I don’t personally know any Sofias, but since I know about a dozen [name_f]Sophia[/name_f] I would probably shy away from using it.
I [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] [name_f]Sofia[/name_f]! It’s my cousin’s name. She’s a 3 year-old who never seems to get bored and is always smiling. It’s kinda funny, but she never talks, just an occasional “hi” or “bye”.
I have two classmates named [name_f]Sofia[/name_f]/ [name_f]Sophia[/name_f] and my younger brother is friends with two other Sofias. One of things that caught my attention is that all of them are really pretty girls. One [name_f]Sophia[/name_f] is a really good writer and is always happy, while the other is an energetic and loud girl, who loves fashion. The other two I don’t know well enough to talk about them.
I just remembered that I do know a couple more Sofias than previously stated. It’s such a classic and beautiful name and it doesn’t feel overused to me.
Very, very popular, but I still like it. I see her as being small and dark and shy, very pretty with a quiet sense of humour.
I find it beautiful! I love just simple [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] too. Yeah, its popular but I never get sick of hearing it!
