We would call him “[name]Jules[/name]” and our last name begins with the letter J. I really like [name]Jules[/name], but I’m not sure about the alliteration. My husband isn’t sure that [name]Jules[/name] would be a good name for an adult.
I would actually be in favor of using [name]Jules[/name] as a nn and giving him a more solid first name. [name]Jules[/name], to me, has always been a nn for [name]Julie[/name]…so its a little on the feminine side.
What about using [name]Julian[/name] or [name]Julius[/name]?
Thanks for your ideas - we thought about this possibility as well. Could be leaning towards [name]Julius[/name] [name]Henry[/name] and [name]Jules[/name] as a nn as you suggest
I like [name]Julian[/name] [name]Henry[/name], but that could be because I worked with an older man named [name]Julian[/name] who was wonderful. [name]Jules[/name] would be a cute nn for [name]Julian[/name].
