I kind of like [name]Truman[/name] and [name]Thatcher[/name] and I’m considering them but not sure if they sound too stuffy
They just sound very political to my ears- [name]Harry[/name] S [name]Truman[/name] and [name]Margaret[/name] [name]Thatcher[/name]? If I were you, I’d pick one and leave the other.
Yeah I wouldn’t use both paired together but I like [name]Truman[/name] and thatcher I’ve liked since I heard it a couple years ago I like the nick name [name]Thatch[/name]
Agreed. I think [name]Thatcher[/name] is a very charged choice atm, too, especially with [name]Margaret[/name] [name]Thatcher[/name]'s fairly recent passing. I’m not in the UK, but I have friends who are, and they said the situation brought up a lot of negative feelings and frustration from the past, so I think with any associations to the UK, it could be a bit of a risky choice. I do like it a lot, though (although I like [name]Truman[/name] more!). I agree that [name]Thatcher[/name] and [name]Truman[/name] are a bit much together, but separately they’re fine, and very cool names at that. I really like [name]Truman[/name], but I like Truett even more–have you considered that? I think it’s lovely.
Agreed. I don’t know where you’re from, but [name]Margaret[/name] [name]Thatcher[/name] was (and still is) very divisive in the UK, people either loved her or hated her, and even when she died recently there were people celebrating it, she was that loathed in certain parts of the country.
To second the suggestion of Truett, what about [name]Fletcher[/name]? That’s got a very similar sound to [name]Thatcher[/name], is still a surname name, but just hasn’t got the political edge to it.
Political associations aside, I like the name [name]Thatcher[/name]. Not so much with [name]Truman[/name]
Politics aside, I love [name]Truman[/name]. It’s a great name that would be on my list if it weren’t for the president and the similarity to [name]Freeman[/name] (family name) that is also on my list. I’m not crazy about [name]Thatcher[/name] though, mostly because it just isn’t my style.
The [name]Truman[/name] show, also dingbat [name]Martha[/name] stewart’s daughter named her kid [name]Truman[/name]. I always think of [name]Thatcher[/name] Longstreth when i hear the name [name]Thatcher[/name]. he was a descendent of a distinguished Quaker family in [name]Philadelphia[/name]. A bit pretentious.
