What do you think of these name combinations?

  1. [name]Lana[/name] [name]Rose[/name]/[name]Lana[/name] [name]Lane[/name]/ [name]Lana[/name] [name]Louise[/name]
  2. [name]Lauren[/name] [name]Ivy[/name]
  1. I like [name]Lana[/name] [name]Rose[/name] best - don’t love the alliteration in this case.
  1. I would prefer [name]Laurel[/name] - [name]Lauren[/name] feels dated and overly popular in my generation, which I don’t know that I would like for my daughter.

[name]Lana[/name] [name]Rose[/name] - Pretty, good choice.
[name]Lana[/name] [name]Lane[/name] - No. [name]Just[/name] no.
[name]Lana[/name] [name]Louise[/name] - Not bad. I’m quite okay with both names starting with the same letter, but this just doesn’t sound right to me.
[name]Lauren[/name] [name]Ivy[/name] - [name]Love[/name] it. [name]Lauren[/name] is gorgeous and [name]Ivy[/name] sounds good after it.

[name]Lana[/name] [name]Rose[/name] is the best combination for #1, I think.

[name]Lauren[/name] [name]Ivy[/name] is pretty, too. The above suggestion of [name]Laurel[/name] [name]Ivy[/name] is a nice thought, but then you’d have two plant-related words in the name!

Good point!

Alliteration bothers me as does the middle name [name]Rose[/name]. [name]Lauren[/name] is a bit too
average for me so I prefer [name]Lana[/name]. [name]Lana[/name] [name]Ivy[/name] would be a pretty combination.

[name]Lana[/name] [name]Rose[/name] - This is very nice.
[name]Lana[/name] [name]Lane[/name] - Definitely not. This is very Superman/Smallville to me (Superman’s first girlfriend in the comics was named [name]Lana[/name] Lang, and she was a character on a soapy Superman television show that ran for many seasons). [name]Even[/name] without that reference, [name]Lana[/name] and [name]Lane[/name] are too close together, and the repetition of sounds in this instance isn’t very appealing.
[name]Lana[/name] [name]Louise[/name] - I don’t really love the alliteration here, but it’s okay.
[name]Lauren[/name] [name]Ivy[/name] - I love [name]Ivy[/name] and this combination flows really well, but I find [name]Lauren[/name] to be sort of dated.

I love [name]Lana[/name] [name]Rose[/name]!

[name]Lana[/name] [name]Rose[/name], without a doubt. I don’t like the alliteration of the other choices, it’s like a tongue-twister. I don’t like [name]Lauren[/name], it’s too 80s/90s.

I think [name]Lauren[/name] [name]Ivy[/name] is great! [name]Lana[/name] Anything is not my cup of tea though, sorry.

[name]Lana[/name] [name]Rose[/name] - this is by far my favorite of your combos.
[name]Lana[/name] [name]Lane[/name] and [name]Lana[/name] [name]Louise[/name] - both of these remind me of Superman. [name]Lana[/name] from Smallville and [name]Lane[/name] and Lo(u)ise from the original. Maybe it’s because you have all three names next to each other but I just can’t see anything else right now.

[name]Lauren[/name] [name]Ivy[/name] - [name]Lauren[/name] is nms. I prefer [name]Laurel[/name] but I wouldn’t pair it with another plant name or [name]Lane[/name]. ([name]Laurel[/name] [name]Lane[/name] sounds like a street name).
