What do you think of these names in general?

[name_m]Hi[/name_m]

I have been looking through the lists of names on nameberry today and have written these names down.

[name_f]Louise[/name_f], [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f], [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f], [name_f]Elise[/name_f], [name_f]Chloe[/name_f], [name_f]Estelle[/name_f], [name_f]Harriet[/name_f].

What do you think of these names in general?

Thank you.

All of them are pretty, but not what I would choose.

They are lovely. I haven’t checked each of them but some are very popular and your daughter may end up being one of two or three in her class, but it would depend if that bothers you. Then again, sometimes a child with an uncommon name ends up with another in her class with the same name. My favourites on your list are [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f], [name_f]Elise[/name_f] and [name_f]Estelle[/name_f].

My favorites are [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] and [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f]! I love [name_f]Elise[/name_f] and [name_f]Louise[/name_f] in the middle slot, but I like [name_f]Louisa[/name_f] better than [name_f]Louise[/name_f] as a first name.

They are all lovely, I particularly like [name_f]Elise[/name_f].

I love [name_f]Elise[/name_f]!!

I’m not a great fan of [name_f]Louise[/name_f], though it’s a perfectly ok name if you like it. I much prefer [name_f]Louisa[/name_f] which has a more current feel. [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] and [name_f]Chloe[/name_f] are lovely and very popular. Nothing wrong with [name_f]Elise[/name_f] but it does feel a bit bland and dated to me. I really like [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f], and love [name_f]Harriet[/name_f] (though not so much its nicknames). [name_f]Estelle[/name_f] is a smart and stylish less-used option.

[name_u]Love[/name_u] all them besides [name_f]Harriett[/name_f]!

I love [name_f]Elise[/name_f] and [name_f]Chloe[/name_f]

Lately, I’ve seen [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] and [name_f]Harriet[/name_f] pop up a lot around here. Perhaps about to be on the rise? Frankly, I find both super clunky and unattractive.
[name_f]Charlotte[/name_f], [name_f]Elise[/name_f], and [name_f]Chloe[/name_f] are all already very popular names, and undoubtedly many will appear in a class together. To me, [name_f]Chloe[/name_f] feels super whiney and trendy next to the more refined [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] and [name_f]Elise[/name_f].
[name_f]Louise[/name_f] and [name_f]Estelle[/name_f] are both quite vintage and need a fresher name paired with it to balance them out. Personally, I love [name_f]Louise[/name_f] as is and as a first name, but I prefer [name_f]Estella[/name_f] over [name_f]Estelle[/name_f] and as a middle name.

Overall, the names are quite all over the place. My favorites are [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] and [name_f]Louise[/name_f].

I love [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] & like [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f]…most of the others aren’t my style. I prefer [name_f]Luisa[/name_f] to [name_f]Louise[/name_f].

[name_f]Louise[/name_f] - [name_f]Louise[/name_f] feels sweet yet strong at the same time
[name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] - I love the [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_f]Bronte[/name_f] association and the nn [name_f]Lottie[/name_f] but I’ve known so many Charlottes
[name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] - love this - it feels familiar, sweet, fun and sophisticated but under the radar
[name_f]Elise[/name_f] - love the sweet gentleness of this
[name_f]Chloe[/name_f] - it has been very popular but I still really like [name_f]Chloe[/name_f]. A soft but strong sound, cute and warm
[name_f]Estelle[/name_f] - [name_f]Estelle[/name_f] is beautiful. I love the sound, the meaning and the feel. I do like [name_f]Estella[/name_f] just a little more though
[name_f]Harriet[/name_f] - sweet. It feels so grand and classic

I only like [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] and [name_f]Louise[/name_f], both classy names. [name_f]Estelle[/name_f] has a bautiful meaning “star” but i’m not a huge fan of the spelling or the sound.

All beautiful names. I love:

[name_f]Harriet[/name_f]
[name_f]Estelle[/name_f]
[name_f]Phoebe[/name_f]
[name_f]Louise[/name_f]

[name_f]Louise[/name_f]- not my style
[name_f]Charlotte[/name_f]- classic
[name_f]Phoebe[/name_f]- [name_m]Even[/name_m] though it’s an old name somehow it feels modern and spunky
[name_f]Elise[/name_f]- classic and beautiful
[name_f]Chloe[/name_f]- same as [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f]
[name_f]Estelle[/name_f]- vintage, but useable
[name_f]Harriet[/name_f]- vintage, with [name_f]Etta[/name_f]/[name_f]Etty[/name_f]/[name_f]Rita[/name_f] nickname potential
