[name]Linnea[/name] - love it! People will not know how to spell or say it, so that is a factor.
[name]Iris[/name] - not my style, but a name with real charm.
[name]Maeve[/name] - love it! There will be spelling and pronunciation issues, and it feels a little incomplete.
[name]Ciara[/name] - not my style, but nice. If you want [name]Keira[/name] or something like it, spell it that way. Spelled this way might be See-ahr-a like the musician. Pretty too, but I think not what you’re going for with several Gaelic names here.
[name]Nora[/name] - love it! I know some people feel it’s incomplete, like it should be a nn for [name]Eleanor[/name].
[name]Viola[/name] - love it! Shakesperean and pretty. People will mistake it for [name]Violet[/name] at times.
[name]Lia[/name] - it’s OK. I’d prefer it spelled [name]Leah[/name] unless there’s a family story for this spelling.
[name]Oona[/name] - not my style, and tough to pull off. Pretty in its way. Teasing potential I think.
Good luck!
[name]Linnea[/name]: I keep forgetting about this name, but it’s definitely one of my top 20 names. [name]Lovely[/name]!
[name]Iris[/name]: My middle name, so I can’t judge it unbiasedly, but I really like it!
[name]Maeve[/name]: I love [name]Maeve[/name]! Simple, but very distinctive.
[name]Ciara[/name]: Pronounced ‘keer-a’, right? I like it, but the fact that it’s ‘see-air-a’ to 90 percent of the world kind of turns me off.
[name]Nora[/name]: I’ve never liked this name for some reason. I do like [name]Eleanora[/name]/[name]Eleanor[/name]/[name]Annora[/name], though.
[name]Viola[/name]: I like it, but the pronunciation always throws me off-- vee-oh-la? vye-oh-la? VY-la? Plus it reminds me of the instrument.
[name]Lia[/name]: I have a friend named [name]Lia[/name], actually. I think it’s a pretty name but this spelling seems kind of insubstantial compared to [name]Leah[/name].
[name]Oona[/name]: Interesting. I’m not a fan of the double O, so I think I prefer it spelled [name]Una[/name]. But it’s definitely a cool name.
[name]Linnea[/name]: [name]Lovely[/name]. A friend of mine named her baby this. The only thing is that it has a vaguely forgettable quality to me. As in, I think it’s beautiful each time I hear it, but I never think of it as a name I’d use.
[name]Iris[/name]: Pretty. A flower name that isn’t overused
[name]Maeve[/name]: I love [name]Maeve[/name]!
[name]Ciara[/name]: Hmm…depends where you live. In [name]Ireland[/name] and perhaps the UK, there wouldn’t be pronunciation issues, but where I live in the US, people would pronounce this like “[name]Sierra[/name]” (ick) instead of like “[name]Keira[/name]”, which is quite nice.
[name]Nora[/name]: Like it, but then again [name]Eleanor[/name] is one of my favorite names and I think [name]Nora[/name] is a great nn for that
[name]Viola[/name]: This is the only one on your list I don’t really care for, [name]Shakespeare[/name] character and musical instrument aside. It just doesn’t have a pretty sound to me.
[name]Lia[/name]: Pretty, I like the unusual spelling, though that may present issues later on.
[name]Oona[/name]: Like it.
Great list!
[name]Linnea[/name] - how do you pronounce this? To me it looks like [name]LINN[/name]-ee-uh, which sounds like Linear in my accent and makes me think of algebra!
[name]Iris[/name] - I can’t get into this name. It just doesn’t sound pretty to me, and appears to be a name growing in popularity if the berry boards are anything to go by!
[name]Maeve[/name] - I [name]LOVE[/name] this name!! It took a while to grow on me but now I think it’s gorgeous
[name]Ciara[/name] - I agree with the pp about pronunciation. I say Kee-AAH-ra but I know the American singer says it very differently. I think it’s quite pretty both ways but they are so different it might get annoying to correct people all the time!
[name]Nora[/name] - I don’t like it so much as a full name but love it as a nn for [name]Eleanora[/name].
[name]Viola[/name] - I just can’t get the instrument out of my head!
[name]Lia[/name] - A girl I work with called her daughter this. I think it’s lovely.
[name]Oona[/name] - makes me think of cavemen! Sorry!!
[name]Linnea[/name] It is a beautiful name
[name]Iris[/name] Old Lady!
[name]Maeve[/name] Sweet, old English style
[name]Ciara[/name] Hard to prn with this spelling
[name]Nora[/name] Horrible
[name]Viola[/name] Sweet
[name]Lia[/name] Prefer [name]Mimi[/name]
[name]Oona[/name] Dislike
[name]Linnea[/name]~Pretty, although I see people spelling or saying it wrong.
[name]Iris[/name]~I feel like this name is starting to come back. It used to be an “old-lady” name, but I don’t think that’s the case anymore. I like it!
[name]Maeve[/name]-I personally never say this name correctly, but I like the idea of it!
[name]Ciara[/name]-I like [name]Sierra[/name] if you’re going in that direction.
[name]Nora[/name]-[name]Love[/name] it, it sounds so classic!
[name]Viola[/name]-Pretty, also like [name]Violet[/name].
[name]Lia[/name]-Good, although maybe consider alternative spellings?
[name]Oona[/name]-Only one I don’t like
All the best!

[name]Ciara[/name] - [name]Don[/name]'t like it either
[name]Nora[/name] - Difficult one, I definitely prefer this spelling to [name]Norah[/name] and the name itself is growing on me.
[name]Viola[/name] - [name]Love[/name] it!
[name]Lia[/name] - Has some charm, I don’t dislike it.
[name]Oona[/name] - Like it a lot!
