My husband and I love them. [name]Both[/name] names hold family significance for us. [name]Lena[/name] was my great grandmother’s name, [name]Gus[/name] was my grandfather’s name, and [name]Ann[/name] is a big family name on my husband’s side.
Surprisingly, I really love [name]Helena[/name] [name]Temperance[/name]. Unfortunately I don’t feel the same way about [name]August[/name] Oliviann. Is Oliviann a real name?
Nameberry recognizes [name]Olivianne[/name] as an actual name, but not Oliviann. There are other websites that do though. I like [name]August[/name] [name]Olivia[/name] too, but I really wanted to honor my mother in-law and grandmother in-law with [name]Ann[/name]. I’m not a fan of [name]Ann[/name] by itself. I like [name]Anneliese[/name], but my best friend’s daughter’s names are [name]Lorelai[/name] [name]Elise[/name] and [name]Paisley[/name] [name]Ann[/name]. It would be weird to use [name]Anneliese[/name] after that.
I know most people on here don’t approve of using [name]August[/name] for a girl, but I swear that every person I’ve mentioned it to here locally thinks its a girl name. I must say, I have to agree that it sounds very girly.
I think [name]Helena[/name] [name]Temperance[/name] is gorgeous! Really love an nicely balanced.
I’m one of those people who consider [name]August[/name] a male name. I also think Oliviann looks like a smush and all I can think of is Olivio for some reason (it’s a butter substitute).
