I have always loved the name [name_f]Primrose[/name_f]. it’s gorgeous, and until now has been my favorite name of all time. At first it was a GP and would only work as a middle, but I’m starting to see it in a different light.
[name_f]Araminta[/name_f] has been the same thing. Some other names:
I think [name_f]Primrose[/name_f] is totally usable as are [name_f]Elowen[/name_f], [name_f]Jessamine[/name_f] and [name_f]Hana[/name_f]. I don’t like the others personally, especially [name_f]Sakura[/name_f].
[name_f]Primrose[/name_f] and [name_f]Jessamine[/name_f] would be a pretty sibset, too.
I think all of them are usable. They’re unusual and different but familiar and memorable. I really like [name_f]Amara[/name_f], [name_f]Elowen[/name_f], and [name_f]Jessamine[/name_f], [name_f]Sakura[/name_f] is beautiful too.
I think [name_f]Primrose[/name_f], [name_f]Amara[/name_f], [name_f]Elowen[/name_f], [name_f]Hana[/name_f] and [name_f]Jessamine[/name_f] are more than usable. [name_f]Araminta[/name_f] is usable too, but it’s a brave choice, and I don’t find [name_f]Sakura[/name_f] usable unless you have a connection to Japan.
I love [name_f]Primrose[/name_f] and [name_f]Araminta[/name_f]. I think they’re definitely usable. I also like [name_f]Jessamine[/name_f] and [name_f]Elowen[/name_f].
[name_f]Primrose[/name_f] is nice, although I personally would be hesitant to use it due to it’s Hunger Games associations. [name_f]Jessamine[/name_f] is my favorite off of your list, I find it stunning! [name_f]Elowen[/name_f] is nice too, although I’m really not a huge fan of [name_f]Sakura[/name_f] or [name_f]Amara[/name_f].
[name_f]Hannah[/name_f] is my sister’s name, so I’m a bit partial to that spelling, but [name_f]Hana[/name_f] is nice as well
I love [name_f]Primrose[/name_f], and I think that [name_f]Amara[/name_f], [name_f]Elowen[/name_f], [name_f]Hana[/name_f] (although, I prefer the [name_f]Hanna[/name_f] spelling), and [name_f]Jessamine[/name_f] are pretty and usable as well. I’m not a fan or [name_f]Araminta[/name_f] and [name_f]Sakura[/name_f], though. [name_f]Sakura[/name_f] is pretty, but I’m not fond of it as a name.
Arraminta is my personal favorite with [name_f]Primrose[/name_f] second.
I think the name’s usability is dependent on where you are. I have spent much time in the UK so both these are easy and acceptable.
[name_f]Elowen[/name_f] is beautiful, growing in use –though only to the point it’s not unknown.
[name_f]Hana[/name_f], I love from former Czech tennis player [name_f]Hana[/name_f] Mandlikova –would perhaps need some spelling correction but these days people do ask for spellings of most names.
[name_f]Jessamine[/name_f] is rich in history –just not a special favorite personally –the pick of ‘J’ names though.
[name_f]Amara[/name_f] I am not loving as much and finally
[name_f]Sakura[/name_f]. After reading British and European birth notices for quite some time now I think it would be quite gorgeous, usable and the spelling is surely easy enough. [name_f]Lovely[/name_f], lovely list.
They are all useable if you really want to use them I guess, no actual no-go, though obviously almost all are quite unusual.
[name_f]Primrose[/name_f] - very Hunger Games for me, but I guess she could go by [name_f]Rose[/name_f] if she doesn’t like it
[name_f]Araminta[/name_f] - sounds made up to me but is fine, just personally don’t like it because it’s such a mouthful and sounds oddly exotic without me being able to place it anywhere if that makes sense
[name_f]Sakura[/name_f] - this is the only one out of the bunch where I have a tendency to say ‘don’t use’, just because I don’t like it much when people use names that are so completely associated with a completely different culture/language (as in, I would also not name my baby [name_m]Santiago[/name_m] or [name_m]Guillaume[/name_m] or Yuan [name_m]Le[/name_m])
[name_f]Amara[/name_f] - out of all this is probably the safest choice, it’s pretty, easy and straight forward I think
[name_f]Elowen[/name_f] - has a [name_m]Lord[/name_m] of the Rings touch for me but works…would probably rather give this as a pretty/special middle name
[name_f]Hana[/name_f] - would never want to give my child a name that would constantly be misspelled [name_f]Hannah[/name_f] or [name_f]Hanna[/name_f] (super common where we live)
[name_f]Jessamine[/name_f] - would probably get mixed up with [name_f]Jasmin[/name_f] quite a bit, I think it’s an ok name, though a bit too cutesy in my ears, I prefer just [name_f]Jessa[/name_f]
