[name_f]Leocadia[/name_f] vs. [name_f]Leontine[/name_f]?
[name_f]Sophronia[/name_f] vs. [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f]?
Which of the two are better choices? Or are they too outdated to be used?
What do you think of these names?
Although I do love how [name_f]Sophronia[/name_f] has a strong cadence to it, in contrast to its meaning ‘sensible, prudent’. All the while [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f] bearing a more gentle demeanor, also in contrast to its meaning ‘ardent, fiery.’ Possible siblings? Or too close?
[name_f]Leocadia[/name_f] vs. [name_f]Leontine[/name_f]?
I’ve never come across [name_f]Leocadia[/name_f] before but I really like it - it has a lovely flow. I think it’s a bit more wearable too as it gives you the possibility of the nn [name_f]Cadie[/name_f] (almost [name_f]Katie[/name_f]) as well as [name_m]Leo[/name_m] which both feel familiar and balance out the unusualness of the name
[name_f]Sophronia[/name_f] vs. [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f]
[name_f]Seraphina[/name_f] - I find [name_f]Sophronia[/name_f] a little hard to say whereas I like the flow of [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f] (plus it has a great meaning)
[name_f]Leocadia[/name_f] v Leotine- I don’t love either though I think I like the sound of [name_f]Leocadia[/name_f] more.
[name_f]Sophronia[/name_f] v [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f]- I really like both but I especially have a soft spot for [name_f]Sophronia[/name_f] because of the potential nn Phronsie For me they’re too close to be siblings.
I’m not huge on [name_f]Leocadia[/name_f] or Leotine; I think I prefer Leotine, though. I far prefer [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f] to [name_f]Sophronia[/name_f]. It’s much more wearable and I prefer the sound of it.
Sorry, I’m not fond of the L names. I’d choose Serephina over [name_f]Sophronia[/name_f], only because it’s too close to the overly popular [name_f]Sophia[/name_f]. But I do like both S names.
[name_f]Leocadia[/name_f] and [name_f]Sophronia[/name_f]. I love the meanings and I love -ia endings in general. Thanks for posting, I’m adding [name_f]Sophronia[/name_f] to my list.
I really like [name_f]Leontine[/name_f] and find it quite usable. [name_f]Leocadia[/name_f] is interesting and has some appeal, but longer and less known. I prefer [name_f]Leontine[/name_f]. I have a soft spot for [name_f]Sophronia[/name_f]/ Phronsie since she was a character in Five [name_m]Little[/name_m] Peppers and [name_m]How[/name_m] They Grew which I read as a child. I like [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f] too, not sure which I would choose out of those as they’re both too flowery for my real-life tastes. [name_f]Leontine[/name_f], however, I would add to my lists.
I adore [name_f]Leocadia[/name_f] - she’s a stunner. I don’t mind [name_f]Leontine[/name_f] either, but [name_f]Leocadia[/name_f] is definitely frontrunner for me.
I do like both S- names, but I prefer [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f], which I just find so whimsical and lovely.
All of these names are seriously STUNNING! I’ve just learned about [name_f]Leocadia[/name_f] but it’s already growing on me, and [name_f]Leontine[/name_f] is a darling! I must say I prefer [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f] over [name_f]Sophronia[/name_f], but I don’t think you can go wrong with any of these beautiful names!
