What do you think of the following sets of sisters?
[name_u]Jean[/name_u] [name_f]Lillian[/name_f] & [name_f]Amelia[/name_f] [name_f]Ann[/name_f]
[name_u]Jean[/name_u] [name_f]Lillian[/name_f] & [name_u]Dana[/name_u] [name_f]Elisabeth[/name_f]
[name_u]Jean[/name_u] [name_f]Lillian[/name_f] & [name_u]Francis[/name_u] [name_f]Kathleen[/name_f]
[name_u]Jean[/name_u] [name_f]Lillian[/name_f] & [name_f]Susanna[/name_f] [name_f]Elisabeth[/name_f]
[name_u]Jean[/name_u] [name_f]Lillian[/name_f] & [name_f]Ann[/name_f]/[name_f]Anna[/name_f] [name_f]Kathleen[/name_f]
[name_u]Jean[/name_u] and [name_u]Francis[/name_u], [name_u]Jean[/name_u] and [name_f]Susanna[/name_f], and [name_u]Jean[/name_u] and [name_f]Anna[/name_f] are my favorites
I think [name_u]Jean[/name_u] and [name_f]Frances[/name_f] go together best, but I also think [name_f]Susanna[/name_f], [name_f]Ann[/name_f], and [name_f]Anna[/name_f] go nicely. That said, I think [name_u]Dana[/name_u] is a lovely, underused name (and, this is nerdy on my part but I love the namesake [name_u]Dana[/name_u] [name_m]Scully[/name_m]), so this is probably my personal favorite from the list.
Overall, I think loving the name independently is more important than “matching” [name_u]Jean[/name_u].
[name_f]Amelia[/name_f] is also a beautiful name, but—though I stand by my statement above about matching not being the most important factor—it does give me pause next to [name_u]Jean[/name_u]. They seem quite different in both style and popularity level.
Good list, good luck
I think [name_u]Jean[/name_u] & [name_f]Ann[/name_f] and [name_u]Jean[/name_u] & [name_u]Dana[/name_u] work best together. I agree that [name_f]Susan[/name_f] would work well with [name_u]Jean[/name_u]. I prefer the [name_f]Frances[/name_f] spelling for a girl.
My favourite pair is [name_u]Jean[/name_u] [name_f]Lillian[/name_f] and [name_u]Francis[/name_u] [name_f]Kathleen[/name_f]
(though I prefer [name_u]Francis[/name_u] [name_f]Elisabeth[/name_f])
[name_u]Jean[/name_u] and [name_f]Frances[/name_f] (this spelling preferred)!
