What do you think of these?

Looking for opinions on these combo’s…

  1. [name]Persephone[/name] [name]Olwen[/name] [name]Snow[/name]

  2. [name]Valentina[/name] [name]Seren[/name] [name]Lucia[/name] (Loo-chee-uh?) too long?

  3. [name]Hermione[/name] [name]Fleur[/name] [name]Adeline[/name] or [name]Hermione[/name] [name]Iris[/name] [name]Vivienne[/name]

Oooh, such gorgeousness! I’m getting real images in my head here, which is unusual for me, so forgive me these comments…

[name]Persephone[/name] [name]Olwen[/name] [name]Snow[/name] and [name]Valentina[/name] [name]Seren[/name] [name]Lucia[/name] both sound like real winter children, [name]Persephone[/name] born in frosty icy [name]January[/name], [name]Valentina[/name] in cosy, candlelit [name]December[/name]. [name]Hermione[/name] [name]Iris[/name] [name]Vivienne[/name] sounds like a spring girl, all new shoots and leaves and birdsong. [name]Hermione[/name] [name]Fleur[/name] [name]Adeline[/name] is very pretty too, but not in the same league.

I love all three of these, ranking: POS, VSL, HIV (oh no, the initials are no good…).

They are all very lovely. The only thing I would possibly reconsider is [name]Hermione[/name] [name]Fleur[/name] [name]Adeline[/name], in that [name]Hermione[/name] and [name]Fleur[/name] are both characters in the book [name]Harry[/name] [name]Potter[/name]. I would do [name]Hermione[/name] [name]Iris[/name] [name]Vivienne[/name] instead

  1. [name]Persephone[/name] [name]Olwen[/name] [name]Snow[/name] – I love [name]Persephone[/name]! I almost hope this baby is a girl so I can name her [name]Persephone[/name] as I’m due in spring and [name]Persephone[/name] is the goddess of spring growth. That all being said, this is lovely! [name]Persephone[/name] is beautiful, [name]Olwen[/name] I’ve never heard but it seems strong and gentle at once and [name]Snow[/name] is whimsical while connecting [name]Persephone[/name]'s goddess of spring growth with the winter that her mother casts on the earth each year. My favorite!

  2. [name]Valentina[/name] [name]Seren[/name] [name]Lucia[/name] (Loo-chee-uh?) too long? – I don’t find it too long, I just find the flow a little off. I would do [name]Valentina[/name] [name]Lucia[/name] [name]Seren[/name]. The similar endings of [name]Valentina[/name] and [name]Lucia[/name] don’t bother me one bit and I think it makes the combo seem less long and flow better. [name]Valentina[/name] is very pretty, [name]Lucia[/name] is regal and [name]Seren[/name] is strong and pretty.

  3. [name]Hermione[/name] [name]Fleur[/name] [name]Adeline[/name] or [name]Hermione[/name] [name]Iris[/name] [name]Vivienne[/name] – I prefer [name]Iris[/name] [name]Vivienne[/name], but neither flow very well to me and [name]Hermione[/name] [name]Iris[/name] [name]Vivienne[/name] spells HIV. I think [name]Hermione[/name] [name]Iris[/name] [name]Fleur[/name] sounds lovely. [name]Even[/name] though [name]Iris[/name] is a flower and [name]Fleur[/name] means flower, I think the over all flow is very nice. [name]Hermione[/name] [name]Vivienne[/name] [name]Iris[/name] is great too! The shorter name at the end makes it flow better to me and gets rid of the HIV thing. I adore [name]Hermione[/name] (though I generally prefer it pronounced the Greek way which is like hair-mee-oh-nee, but I understand that won’t happen :stuck_out_tongue: ). [name]Hermione[/name] is intelligent and strong, [name]Iris[/name] is gorgeous and mythological like [name]Hermione[/name], [name]Vivian[/name]/[name]Vivienne[/name] is very pretty and old fashioned.

I really like both [name]Persephone[/name] and [name]Snow[/name] but I’m not too keen on [name]Olwen[/name] paired with them…

[name]Valentina[/name] [name]Seren[/name] [name]Lucia[/name] is a bit difficult for me to say for some reason. Not sure why but I am inclined to add even another syllable to make it [name]Valentina[/name] [name]Serena[/name]…

[name]Hermione[/name] [name]Fleur[/name] [name]Adeline[/name] is very very [name]Harry[/name] [name]Potter[/name]-ish so that was going to be my concern as well, but I just realized the problem with the initials of [name]Hermione[/name] [name]Iris[/name] [name]Vivienne[/name] from [name]Ottilie[/name]'s post so maybe you could switch them around a bit?

[name]Persephone[/name] [name]Snow[/name] [name]Lucia[/name]
[name]Hermione[/name] [name]Vivienne[/name] [name]Fleur[/name]
[name]Hermione[/name] [name]Iris[/name] [name]Adeline[/name]
[name]Hermione[/name] [name]Valentina[/name] [name]Seren[/name]

Good luck! =]

  1. [name]Persephone[/name] [name]Olwen[/name] [name]Snow[/name] - I like the sound and flow of this one. Lots of O sounds. I have been very drawn to [name]Welch[/name] names ending in -en lately and [name]Olwen[/name] is quite nice. Might I suggest [name]Anwen[/name]? [name]Persephone[/name] sounds beautiful, but it is a lot of name for a girl to carry; I prefer seeing mythological character names as middles, but if you are brave enough to use [name]Persephone[/name], it is beautiful. [name]Penelope[/name] [name]Olwen[/name] [name]Snow[/name] would be more to my taste, but this isn’t my child!

  2. [name]Valentina[/name] [name]Seren[/name] [name]Lucia[/name] : [name]Valentina[/name] strikes me as much more feminine than your other two choices, but as a more commonly used choice, would work well as a new baby. Absolutely love [name]Seren[/name] [name]Lucia[/name] together though! [name]One[/name] drawback: -tina and -cia kinda sound repetitive as well.

  3. [name]Hermione[/name] [name]Iris[/name] [name]Vivienne[/name] : My favorite combo! [name]Love[/name] these three names and the flow you have here. [name]Fleur[/name] [name]Adeline[/name] combo is nice two, but not my cup of tea.

Your three choices are each interesting and lovely.

Oh, no I totally didn’t see the HIV initials for [name]Hermione[/name], and that’s the only combo I really like =(

[name]Persephone[/name] [name]Olwen[/name] [name]Snow[/name] is so my style and is definitely staying on my list, glad most of you liked it.

I’m still unsure about [name]Valentina[/name] [name]Seren[/name] [name]Lucia[/name], but I do really like it.

Anyone else?
