[name]Neoma[/name] (nay OH ma) or [name]Noémie[/name] (no ehy mee)
[name]Leta[/name] (LAY ta)
[name]Leocadia[/name] (lee oh KAY dee ah)
[name]Karenina[/name] (ka REN ee na) or [name]Carina[/name] (ka REE na)
Came across them while looking through a few more potential names, what are your thoughts? And are they usable for a girl in the UK? Also, would you say [name]Neoma[/name] is too similar to [name]Leonie[/name] (lee OH nee)? The relationship between my other half and her mother, [name]Leonie[/name], is almost beyond repair, so I don’t think she’d be too keen on a name which seems to honour her.
I think Karenina has too much association with [name]Anna[/name], who kills herself in the book, so I would choose [name]Carina[/name] instead.
I also like [name]Leocadia[/name], [name]Noemie[/name], and [name]Leta[/name].
[name]Beta[/name]
[name]Lionelle[/name]
[name]Cadence[/name]
[name]Persephone[/name]
[name]Penelope[/name]
[name]Delta[/name]
[name]Fiona[/name]
I kind of like [name]Carina[/name], but the rest… meh, I’m just not keen on the “AY” sound in general. As for Karenina? Well, maybe a bit too [name]Anna[/name] Karenina. Not that I’ve read the book.
I vastly prefer Noémie over [name]Neoma[/name]. [name]Neoma[/name] doesn’t have a pleasant sound, [name]IMO[/name]. My second choice would be [name]Carina[/name].
I like [name]Neoma[/name] or [name]Noemie[/name]. I like the pronounciation of [name]Noemie[/name] a little bit better though. I don’t think it is close to [name]Leonie[/name], they have totally different pronounciations.
