Hmm⌠I worry about pronunciation with all of them.
With the âierâ on [name]Collier[/name] I think some people would think itâs the âyayâ sound and some might think itâs âyurâ.
For [name]Calder[/name], I personally say is call-der (call rhyming with fall), but maybe thatâs just me?
And if I saw the name Coular, I would pronounce it âcoolerâ or maybe âcow-lerâ. I would go with Cohler maybe?
[name]Hope[/name] this helps. Others feel free to correct me if Iâm the only one with the pronunciation issues!!
I donât have an issue with [name]Collier[/name] or [name]Calder[/name] (though I also pronounce it call-der). As for Coular, I would probably pronounce it cooler too if I didnât know the kid. Pronouncing it kohler makes me think of the toilet brand!
I like [name]Calder[/name] a lot (also pronounce it call-derâ doesnât make the great nickname â[name]Cal[/name]â any less usable though).
[name]Collier[/name] I donât like. Sounds like it should be the occupational name of someone who works with Collies (the dog). If you use this name, donât ever have a family dog thatâs a [name]Collie[/name].
Coular I like even less. Reminds me of toilets and coolers. Also, maybe itâs not, but it feels made up. Like you wanted to get to the NN [name]Cole[/name] and just threw some letter together to get there.
Haha I went to school with a kid named Coular and always thought his name was pretty cool. I also pronounce [name]Calder[/name] call-der but I thought cal could still work as a nick name
