What do you think of these?

Just want to see what everyone’s feelings are about these names. We have a 100% secured girls name. But I want a few extras just incase.

So the names are…
🩷Ocean
🩷Sage
🩷Blossom
🩷Winter
🩷Penelope
🩷Dove
🩷Lumi

Also any suggestions of similar names are always welcome.

Thanks

They’re sweet—full of imagery as a list!

[name_f]Penelope[/name_f], [name_u]Dove[/name_u], and [name_f]Blossom[/name_f] are my three favorites.

I would probably pick [name_u]Winter[/name_u], [name_f]Penelope[/name_f], and [name_u]Sage[/name_u]!

[name_u]Ocean[/name_u], [name_f]Blossom[/name_f], [name_u]Dove[/name_u], and [name_f]Lumi[/name_f] are all just a little too “wordy” to be names IMO but that’s just me. [name_f]Lumi[/name_f] feels…short? idk.

I like [name_f]Blossom[/name_f] and [name_f]Lumi[/name_f]. Don’t think I’d ever use [name_f]Blossom[/name_f] as a first, I see it as a bit of a gp, but always had a soft spot for it. [name_f]Lumi[/name_f] to me feels more usable as a first, I still don’t think I love it enough to use it but definitely like it, it’s sweet.

I think all of them are usauble but I like [name_u]Sage[/name_u], [name_u]Winter[/name_u], and [name_u]Dove[/name_u] best with [name_u]Sage[/name_u] being my favorite.

These are so cute.

I’d say my favourite is [name_f]Lumi[/name_f] just because I’m using it as a nn for [name_u]Luminance[/name_u]. I also love [name_u]Winter[/name_u].

[name_u]Ocean[/name_u] → powerful and lovely
[name_u]Sage[/name_u] → warm and magical
[name_f]Blossom[/name_f] → a bit cutesy for me, but it is sweet
[name_u]Winter[/name_u] → sharp, bright and lovely
[name_f]Penelope[/name_f] → bubbly and elegant
[name_u]Dove[/name_u] → warm, peaceful and bright
[name_f]Lumi[/name_f] → poetic and bubbly

Similar suggestions: [name_f]Mabli[/name_f], [name_u]Juniper[/name_u], [name_f]Opal[/name_f], [name_u]Solstice[/name_u], [name_f]Polly[/name_f], [name_u]Lark[/name_u], [name_u]Kestrel[/name_u], [name_u]Haven[/name_u], [name_u]Poet[/name_u], [name_u]Sunny[/name_u]

[name_u]Ocean[/name_u] - love the imagery and thought of this, but I like it much more for boys… I struggle to see a girl [name_u]Ocean[/name_u]? I like Oceana/Oceane much more for girls.
[name_u]Sage[/name_u] - I like it more than Paige… but it’s not really my style either. I do love that it reminds me of sage green, though, which I’m a big fan of, color wise.
[name_f]Blossom[/name_f] - [name_f]Blossom[/name_f] is super sweet! I like her a lot but idk that I’d have the guts to use her up front, I think I’d do something like [name_f]Liliana[/name_f] [name_f]Blossom[/name_f] or [name_f]Lydia[/name_f] [name_f]Blossom[/name_f] myself.
[name_u]Winter[/name_u] - big fan - I have loved [name_u]Winter[/name_u] for years and I think she’s gorgeous! [name_u]Love[/name_u] the nn [name_f]Winnie[/name_f].
[name_f]Penelope[/name_f] - love the nns for [name_f]Penelope[/name_f] (especially [name_f]Poppy[/name_f], [name_f]Lola[/name_f], [name_f]Ella[/name_f], and Pippi), but [name_f]Penelope[/name_f] itself doesn’t do much for me. Unfortunately. I wish I did like her; I like the idea of her? :woman_shrugging:
[name_u]Dove[/name_u] - [name_u]Dove[/name_u] feels super sweet, I love the sound of her and how soft and sweet of a name it feels like. And then it makes me think of pigeons (perhaps since they’re in the same family of bird?) and it makes me less sympathic. Part of me wants [name_u]Dove[/name_u] as the nn but then I have no clue what I would use as the full name, maybe [name_f]Doveva[/name_f]? But that doesn’t do much for me either. I like it in theory but I think I’d have to meet a really lovely [name_u]Dove[/name_u] for it to feel usable. Part of me is still hung up on the Hebrew masculine name [name_m]Dov[/name_m], too…
[name_f]Lumi[/name_f] - super sweet and I love the tie to snow.

[name_u]Winter[/name_u], [name_f]Lumi[/name_f], and [name_f]Blossom[/name_f] are my favorites, followed by [name_u]Dove[/name_u] and [name_u]Sage[/name_u]. Good luck!

I love [name_f]Penelope[/name_f]! I’d also love to meet a little girl named [name_u]Ocean[/name_u] or [name_u]Winter[/name_u].
