What do you think of the name Kamry ([name_f]Camry[/name_f]) for a girl?
Our daughter’s name is Kynslee and we like the K names. We would go with Kambri (Kambry) as that’s our favorite name but my sister stole it from me when I said I liked it I like unique K names with a little different spelling.
And, any middle name ideas?
**btw… we will find out in about 2 wks what we are having but I like having a name set. If it’s a boy it’ll probably be [name_m]Quinton[/name_m] [name_m]Drake[/name_m] or [name_m]Drake[/name_m] Owynn.
If your sister has or is going to have a Kambri), why would you name a daughter Kamry? Wouldn’t that be confusing at family gatherings? I think it’s too similar to the car brand. I like [name_m]Quinton[/name_m] [name_m]Drake[/name_m].
Kamry is way too close to the car, and that’d be the first thing i’d think of!
Here are some other suggestions, for what they’re worth!
[name_u]Kamryn[/name_u] (close to Kamry, but since it’s pronounced similar to [name_u]Cameron[/name_u] i wouldn’t think of the Toyota)
[name_f]Kendyl[/name_f]
[name_u]Kamden[/name_u] ([name_m]Kamdyn[/name_m])
[name_u]Korin[/name_u] (Korynn)
Kamry is way too close to Kambri and the car brand [name_f]IMO[/name_f]. I was also going to suggest some form of [name_u]Cameron[/name_u]. I like [name_m]Quinton[/name_m] [name_m]Drake[/name_m].
Kamry and Kambri sound very similar to me. It may get confusing if those two girls will be spending a lot of time together. If not, then I think it won’t matter as much, but still a bit confusing. Other suggestions:
Kimbra
[name_u]Kamryn[/name_u]
[name_f]Kamilla[/name_f]
[name_f]Katalina[/name_f]
[name_m]Kamdyn[/name_m]
[name_f]Kiara[/name_f]
[name_f]Kaia[/name_f]
[name_f]Kamala[/name_f]
[name_f]Kallie[/name_f]
Kapri
Kamry just reminds me of the Toyota [name_f]Camry[/name_f]. Kamry is way too similar to the name Kambry, as well.
There are lots of other pretty K names.
You might like: [name_f]Kady[/name_f], [name_u]Keely[/name_u], [name_f]Karlie[/name_f], [name_u]Kyrie[/name_u], [name_f]Kora[/name_f], [name_f]Kynthia[/name_f] (kin-thea)
[name_m]Quinton[/name_m] [name_m]Drake[/name_m] is a nice choice if you are having a boy.
Thanks ladies! I’m also looking into other K names. I’m rarely with my sister and our family is in different states so it’s not that often that they even talk or get together. I’m not super close to the sister that used that name either - we just have different lifestyles.
Here are a few other possibilities of K names that I like and/or half-way like:
**[name_f]Karys[/name_f] / [name_f]Karis[/name_f] (this was already on our list but hubby isn’t a huge fan of it)
**[name_f]Kiera[/name_f] / keira (this is also on our list I just like Kamry or [name_f]Karis[/name_f] better)
**Kieryn
**[name_f]Kora[/name_f]
**[name_f]Kiara[/name_f]
**[name_u]Kyrie[/name_u]
**Kambria
These are in no certain order - just from suggestions and some I found.
I think that Kamry is way too close to Kambry and to Kynslee as well. People will get their names confused all the time! I also think it’s trying too hard, there are so many other trendy K names out there.
I think that [name_f]Kiera[/name_f]/[name_f]Keira[/name_f] would work (maybe [name_f]Kira[/name_f] if you really want an alternate spelling.
Other suggestions:
[name_f]Keris[/name_f]
[name_f]Kyla[/name_f]
[name_f]Kallie[/name_f]
[name_f]Kaylan[/name_f]
I really dislike Kamry, and I agree with [name_u]Mischa[/name_u] it seems strange to name Your daughter Kamry with a cousin named Kambry.
[name_m]How[/name_m] about:
Kambria is still too close to Kambry. It is a bit strange to have people in the same family with similar names unless they are named after them…in this case they are too close in age.
From your new list, I really like [name_f]Kora[/name_f] and [name_u]Kyrie[/name_u]. [name_u]Kyrie[/name_u] is being used on boys for some reason, but I like it for a girl. It sounds too pretty for a boy. It seems like your style. [name_f]Cora[/name_f] is popular, but [name_f]Kora[/name_f] is actually the original spelling. Some K names look bizarre (sorry) but those two don’t.
