I am wondering if you would tell me what you think of the name [name]Felicity[/name]? Anything specific come to mind? I think I like the name but when I mentioned it to my husband he said something about it so I wanted to see if you think of that too or if it’s something different. [name]Just[/name] a name association thing!

It’s okay, but a bit sugary for my taste. I prefer [name]Verity[/name].
[name]One[/name] of my all time favorites! I think it’s beautiful, frilly and feminine.

Well, a friend has a preschooler with that name, so that would be my immediate association. Her nn is Filly, which I think is adorable.
I vaguely remember the t.v. show.

Thanks everyone! It’s funny that the first thing mentioned was the show! That’s what my husband said. I’ve never seen it nor heard about it so I was wondering what everyone else would think of it. I think it’s a pretty name. I didn’t would want the association with the show but since it’s an older show I would hope that it wouldn’t be brought up too much. 
Beautiful name! Very girly; I do think of the tv show but that wouldn’t put me off using it.

If someone says " what do you think of when you hear [name]Felicity[/name]?" I have to think for a while and then the show comes to mind. (I never watched it, so maybe that’s why.) But if I were to meet a [name]Felicity[/name], I definitely would never associate it with the show. I love this name because of all the different styles of nicknames it comes with – Filly (as pp mentioned), Felly, [name]Felice[/name], Lissy, or even City if someone is going for something way out of the box and fun. I’m sure there are more – those are just off the top of my head. Great name!!

I love [name]Felicity[/name]! I think of the TV show [name]Arrow[/name] (which my family is a bit obsessively in love with, haha). I think of happiness, due to the meaning. I think of history and colonial times in [name]America[/name] (thanks to [name]Felicity[/name] Merriman, the American Girl doll). All very positive connections for me. [name]Felicity[/name]'s on my list as a MN, I love it. I can’t think of one negative thing to say about [name]Felicity[/name]!
I love [name]Felicity[/name] and think it’s a great name. I wouldn’t worry at all about the TV show association. I do think of the TV show but only bc I have never met any [name]Felicity[/name]'s in real life. I agree with the previous poster who said when asked to think about it I come up with the TV show, but if I met a little [name]Felicity[/name] I wouldn’t even think of it.
I wouldn’t worry about the TV show, it’s not even on anymore if I’m correct and it will eventually fade away entirely - certainly none of her peers would get the reference.
