It sounds cool to my ears but I would really like to know what others think? Feel free to be brutally honest

I’ve been digging this myself lately, especially as a mn. I think it aligns with a lot of trendy names at the moment. It’s just not the easiest for me to say, but I like the vibe.
A friend of mine just had a baby girl called [name_f]Solstice[/name_f]! I like it. It’s striking but not ridiculous, and I adore the nickname [name_m]Sol[/name_m] for a girl.
I quite like it!
I feel like it’s in the same vein as names like [name_f]Luna[/name_f], [name_f]Avalon[/name_f], [name_u]Winter[/name_u] and [name_u]Raven[/name_u], but fresher.
It also has that -ice ending in common with popular classics like [name_f]Alice[/name_f] and [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f].
[name_f]Solstice[/name_f] is a name I would absolutely use, especially as a middle. It’s a bold, unique, distinctive choice, which is exactly what I’m looking for. If your style tends to be more traditional, I wouldn’t use it, but for the adventurous namers amongst us, go for it! It’s gorgeous.
Not my style. I love nature names but this one doesn’t appeal to me. It reminds me of [name_f]Soleil[/name_f].
It’s not a bad name, but I can’t say I particularly like it. I do like the sound of it, and it’ much better than [name_f]Soleil[/name_f]. I’m Scandinavian and we’ve always celebrated summer solstice quite elaborately. I can’t see this name apart from that, to me it almost feels like naming your child [name_u]Christmas[/name_u].
I like it only as a middle name.
