What do you think of the name Saliyah? It is pronounced just like [name_f]Aaliyah[/name_f] but I think the S makes a nice sound touch and almost a softer feeling? What do you think
It sounds pretty, but I’m not a big fan of how it looks. Maybe Salia?
I am just going to be honest, thinking of future mean kids or such—it kind of sounds like “saliva” if you glance at it.
However, I know the meaning of the name is very pretty!
Maybe [name_f]Alia[/name_f] or [name_f]Alya[/name_f] is a different spelling?

When I first read it, I pronounced it like suh-leeya rather than S-Aaliyah, and I slightly prefer my intial pronunciation. I’m not sure if people may initially mispronounce Saliyah, as I did
I agree that it looks nice but the sound is off. I said it like SAL-yuh at first, and I honestly think that’s way prettier.
It is the way you anitially thought, where I live [name_f]Aaliyah[/name_f] is the regular spelling that sounds like Ah-lee-ah
So it would sound like sah-lee-ah
