[name]James[/name], [name]William[/name], [name]Elise[/name], and… [name]Margaret[/name]? Is [name]Margaret[/name] too clunky next to [name]Elise[/name]?
For a boy, ([name]James[/name], [name]William[/name], [name]Elise[/name], and) [name]Arthur[/name]? or [name]Adam[/name]?
I love [name]Arthur[/name], but my husband doesn’t like its nerdy name image. I like [name]Adam[/name], especially because all three boys’ names would contain the letter m. But does [name]Adam[/name] fit with [name]James[/name] and [name]Will[/name]?
Are you planning to call her [name]Margaret[/name]? the full name? It certainly isn’t completely off of [name]Elise[/name], I think [name]Meg[/name]/[name]Maggie[/name]/[name]Reta[/name] etc. would fit beautifully. [name]Margaret[/name] probably just feels a bit off because of it’s length.
[name]Adam[/name], [name]James[/name] and [name]Will[/name] are all such classic names that I don’t think they clash at all. [name]Adam[/name] isn’t a favorite of mine but it’s very nice and would go well with your set.
I love [name]Arthur[/name] but if your DH dislikes it I suppose you have to let it go.
From your signature I love [name]Thomas[/name] and [name]Claire[/name] a lot!
I like [name]James[/name], [name]William[/name], [name]Elise[/name] and [name]Margaret[/name]. [name]Margaret[/name] comes with so many nn options ([name]Elise[/name] and [name]Margot[/name] would be great together). Have you considered the French [name]Marguerite[/name]? I think either [name]Arthur[/name] or [name]Adam[/name] would be fine in your sibset.
I do like [name]Margot[/name]. The emphasis is on the second syllable, right?
As for [name]Claire[/name], I absolutely love it but am a bit worried about calling her Eclair by accident. You see, when I want to call out [name]Claire[/name]'s name and inevitably go down the line of kids (“J-, [name]Wil[/name]- [name]Elis[/name]- [name]Claire[/name]!”) it sounds like “Eclair”. On the other hand, my husband does actually like [name]Claire[/name], too.
[name]Marguerite[/name] is one that I like, but husband does not like it at all. I doubt he’s even going to let me talk him into [name]Margaret[/name], despite it being his grandmother’s name.
[name]Adam[/name] is my favorite for a boy, at this moment, anyway. I like how it sounds like “atom”. We are science nerds.
