What do you think of Weston Clark Daniel?

Well, the subject line pretty much says it all… What do you think of this name? We probably won’t use this name for our first son, because we have another family name we would like to use, but I just came up with this combo, and loved it. [name]Both[/name] [name]Clark[/name] and [name]Daniel[/name] are family names. Our first born son will most likely be named [name]Griffin[/name], but if we ever have another little boy we might name him [name]Weston[/name] [name]Clark[/name] [name]Daniel[/name]. What do you think???

I love, love, love [name]Weston[/name]. I don’t know why. But I think it’s great. The combo isn’t really my favorite, all together it sounds a bit too cowboy-ish to me, but I like that they’re family names.
I would actually pick [name]Weston[/name] over [name]Griffin[/name]. I’ve been hearing [name]Griffin[/name] around a lot lately, and it puzzles me. Griffins were mythological beasts, realtively nice ones, as mythological beasts go, but I still would be a bit apprehensive about naming my son after a half-lion half-eagle creature. (See the article.)

[name]Weston[/name]'s okay, although I prefer [name]Westley[/name].

The whole name sounds excellent together (although yes, cowboyish!). I’m jealous that you can use [name]Daniel[/name]… [name]Daniel[/name]'s a family name for me as well, although unfortunately all the [name]Daniels[/name] without exception have passed away before age 9… hence why I’m a little loathe to use it!

Thanks for the feedback! Interesting that you both mentioned that [name]Weston[/name] [name]Clark[/name] [name]Daniel[/name] has a cowboyish feel to it. I never would have thought of that, but now that you mention it, I can see what you mean. Anyway, at the moment it is third on our list of boys’ names, so we probably wouldn’t end up using that exact combo unless we ended up having 3 boys. I do love [name]Daniel[/name] as a middle name, and love that it honors several in our family. Our top choice at the moment for our firstborn son is [name]Griffin[/name] Colane (prn. [name]Cole[/name]-lane, which is a family name passed down several generations to the first born son). If we ever have another son we will most likely use [name]Beckett[/name] [name]Ward[/name] ([name]Ward[/name] is to honor family name, [name]Edward[/name]), or [name]Weston[/name] (not sure on middle name yet). What do you think?

I like [name]Weston[/name]. See also [name]Sutton[/name], [name]Norton[/name] and [name]Easton[/name]. I like [name]Wesley[/name] better but have an ex-boyfriend with that name. Darn! I agree with the cowboy thing though.
