What do you think of when you hear these names?

What comes to mind when you hear these names?

  • [name_m]Liam[/name_m]?

  • [name_u]Cody[/name_u]?

[name_m]Liam[/name_m] - overused
[name_u]Cody[/name_u] - original and cute, not used a lot anymore

[name_m]Liam[/name_m] - I think of [name_m]Liam[/name_m] Neeson first. I don’t mind this name. It has a nice sound.
[name_u]Cody[/name_u] - Not my style. To me it’s very trendy sounding.

[name_m]Liam[/name_m]- overused, overused, overused. I used to like it as a nn for [name_m]William[/name_m] (never as a standalone) but now it’s just too popular and it feels that way.

[name_u]Cody[/name_u]: [name_m]Zach[/name_m] & [name_u]Cody[/name_u] for me, 90s vibe and I don’t really like it even if it didn’t have that old school Disney [name_f]Channel[/name_f] aura.

[name_m]Liam[/name_m]-pretty overused rn, but it’s ok I guess

[name_u]Cody[/name_u]-[name_m]Zack[/name_m] and [name_u]Cody[/name_u], and I know like 10 dogs with the name

[name_m]Liam[/name_m] - My step brothers name, so it’s my first thought. Really over used though.

[name_u]Cody[/name_u] - Makes me think of [name_m]Zach[/name_m] and [name_u]Cody[/name_u], not popular but really dated

[name_m]Liam[/name_m] is popular and [name_u]Cody[/name_u] is dated. Neither is bad, those are just the vibes I get.

[name_m]Liam[/name_m] - very common in the UK, more among the working class. I don’t mind it

[name_u]Cody[/name_u] - my brother-in-law’s name, seems very [name_u]North[/name_u] American and a little dated, but cute.

[name_m]Liam[/name_m]-very, very over-used; also the name I used 13 years ago for my egg baby in high school health class and everyone thought it was sooooo unusual  go figure

[name_u]Cody[/name_u]-also over-used but those kids are probably in high school now I still think of it as too common

[name_m]Liam[/name_m] - nice sound. I get everyone’s statement about it being overused. But I feel the name has been used over a 10 year period. Not just like 3 yr olds. So to me that makes it more doable if you love it.

[name_u]Cody[/name_u] - ok, kinda western. I like [name_m]Wyatt[/name_m] or [name_m]Jett[/name_m] more.

Totally honestly, [name_m]Liam[/name_m] is so everywhere that it has lost its appeal to me. It’s still pretty and all, but also boring because ubiquitous.

[name_u]Cody[/name_u] is a dog name for me since I only know a dog with that name. I might go with [name_u]Corey[/name_u] instead…?

[name_m]Liam[/name_m] - trendy and overused.
[name_u]Cody[/name_u] - a little more dated than [name_m]Liam[/name_m]. Not as popular now as it once was.

Personally, neither of these names are my style, but I definitely prefer [name_u]Cody[/name_u] to [name_m]Liam[/name_m].
