a little while ago, about 12 weeks we chose our baby names, now I have made hubby choose new names as I am scared of getting the baby and thinking the name doesn’t suit the child.
Thanks, I really love these names, it’s just so hard to choose and I want to make sure the name suits the personality
…if only I coud ask bubba what it would prefer.
[name]Elliot[/name] [name]James[/name] Whitefield - bit soft but not out of the ordinary
[name]Jedidiah[/name] [name]George[/name] Whitefield - hmm, Amish? homeschooled? parents liked unique? meh. [name]Jed[/name] isn’t terrible
[name]Elodie[/name] [name]Grace[/name] Whitefield - French? L.O.D?
[name]Cleo[/name] [name]Grace[/name] Whitefield - interesting, kinda like it.
Immediately I think Southern & religious for all of those names. You may find with a name like [name]Jedidiah[/name] that he goes through life battling preconceived notions about who he is, based just on his name. I think [name]Elodie[/name] and [name]Elliot[/name] would be my two picks out of the four.
[name]Elodie[/name] and [name]Cleo[/name] are totally cool. [name]Jedidiah[/name] is a daring name, I don’t have a problem with it by itself, but I don’t like it with [name]George[/name] (or [name]James[/name]). [name]Elliot[/name] [name]James[/name], by contrast seems very tame. What about keeping a short list of possible names, and waiting until you meet your baby to choose?
Thanks guys, but I think I might mention these on an Australian forum as I have no idea why everyone thinks of jeidiah as southern? I think it must be an americicain thing???
I have no idea why the dislike for [name]Jedidiah[/name]! I like both names, but [name]Jedidiah[/name] [name]George[/name] is a stand out. So handsome and strong!
I prefer [name]Elodie[/name] over [name]Cleo[/name], but both are exciting options.
