Are you thinking about using it for a boy or girl (or either)? I have never heard it before, so I need to process it before forming an opinion .
When I saw this name, I immediately thought ‘boy’…and that I liked it!!

Like pp, I’ve never heard this before. I think of ‘boy’, and looking at it pn it ‘Brish-en’, not ‘Br-eye-shen’, is that right?
Looks like a boy’s name. Maybe a surname-turned-first-name? I’d pronounce it “Brish-en” too. To be honest, it actually makes me think of Jewish circumcision: Bris - definition of bris by The Free Dictionary - despite the way I’d pronounce it. I guess because of the first 4 letters of the name match.
