What do you think of the name [name]Layla[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name]? Is it too much of a tongue twister? We are set on the first name [name]Layla[/name], but cannot decide on a middle name. We also like the spelling [name]Elisabeth[/name] (my first name is [name]Lisa[/name] so we like the “s” spelling). Please let me know your honest opinion.
I don’t think it’s a tongue twister, unless your last name has a lot of Ls in it. And I prefer [name]Elisabeth[/name] to [name]Elizabeth[/name].
I really like [name]Layla[/name] [name]Elisabeth[/name]. When I say it fast, several times in a row, it does become [name]Layla[/name] [name]Lizbeth[/name]… but that’s cute too… and who will be repeating your DD’s name fast many times in a row in the future? [name]Layla[/name] is a pretty name, and paired with a classic grounds it. Spelling [name]Elisabeth[/name] with an “s” will cause her to have to spell her name frequently and correct people all the time -it seems that most people assume [name]Elizabeth[/name] is spelled with a ‘z’, at least around here. I have a colleague who frequently has that problem. However, since the spelling has a family connection, and you want to use it as a mn, I’d say go for it.
