What do you think of

[name]Tessa[/name] (Nn [name]Tess[/name])

Here is what I love about it…that it’s simple but pretty, subtle southern feel, soft but has strength, no unwanted nn’s, classy, great at any age, ends in A, and not too popular. What are your thoughts on future popularity?

What MN’s do u like?

If you like it, WHY do u like it?

Think this name will get COMPLIMENTS?

*Is this name boring or does it have some old fashioned charm and spunk??

[name]Sadie[/name] is the other name we love. Thoughts? Is [name]Tessa[/name] less nicknamey?

[name]Love[/name] [name]Eloise[/name] too, but not [name]Ellie[/name], and not the booming popularity

Thanks berries!

I love [name]Tessa[/name], and love the nn [name]Tess[/name]! I think it’s a great choice. I much prefer it to [name]Sadie[/name], as I agree that it’s a bit nicknamey. Good luck!

Thanks for the feedback so far!

[name]Love[/name] [name]Tessa[/name]-- much more than [name]Sadie[/name], actually. I really like the simple “[name]Tess[/name]” but [name]Tessa[/name] is a bit more frilly and feminine. I think it’d be adorable on a little southern belle. For a middle name, I really like family names and it kind of depends on how many syllables your last names had, but here are a few I like:
[name]Tessa[/name] [name]Grace[/name]
[name]Tessa[/name] [name]Marie[/name]
[name]Tessa[/name] [name]June[/name]
[name]Tessa[/name] [name]Rose[/name]
[name]Tessa[/name] [name]Faith[/name]

Good luck!!

I love it! I agree with it having all the qualities you described. To me it’s cute but sophisticated, and spunky but feminine. Great choice!

[name]Sadie[/name] is traditionally a nickname for [name]Sarah[/name] and [name]Tessa[/name] is one for [name]Theresa[/name], so if you’re worried about them sounding too nicknamey, you could always go with [name]Sarah[/name] and [name]Theresa[/name] as full names.

My nieces name is [name]Tessa[/name] nn [name]Tess[/name] and her middle name is [name]Jordan[/name]. My sister does get compliments on it and my niece loves it

I actually really like [name]Sadie[/name]. I thinks its absolutley beautiful! As is [name]Eloise[/name] but same as you I really dislike [name]Ellie[/name] as a nickname it’s way to popular now anyways. As for [name]Tessa[/name] i’m not keen although I quite like [name]Tess[/name].

I adore both [name]Tessa[/name] and [name]Sadie[/name]! [name]Tessa[/name] is a little more grown up, both are nick-namey but I think [name]Tessa[/name] is more wearable. (If that makes any sense.)

Some middles for [name]Tessa[/name]…

[name]Tessa[/name] [name]Caroline[/name]
[name]Tessa[/name] [name]Madeleine[/name]
[name]Tessa[/name] [name]Juliet[/name]
[name]Tessa[/name] [name]Juniper[/name]

I like [name]Tessa[/name] and I love [name]Tess[/name] even more, though that is more nickname than [name]Tessa[/name]. [name]Sadie[/name] is okay, but I have known too many dogs with that name so it is kind of ruined for me unfortunately. I don’t see the popularity of [name]Tessa[/name] shooting up anytime soon.
I also love [name]Eloise[/name]. That may become more popular since the [name]El[/name] names are still in style. I still like it though, and think of a spunky little girl probably because of the books.

I love [name]Tessa[/name]!! [name]Tess[/name] is cute, but [name]Tessa[/name] is soooo pretty.

I love [name]Tessa[/name] far more than [name]Sadie[/name].

I do like [name]Tessa[/name] for [name]Theresa[/name] personally, but I think it stands alone.

It def has some old fashioned charm/spunk but isn’t too out there.

I think [name]Tessa[/name] has the potential to get popular.

I like [name]Tessa[/name] for all of the reasons you listed. Mainly because it is sweet and ages well.

MNs:
[name]Tessa[/name] [name]Meadow[/name]
[name]Tessa[/name] [name]Harper[/name]
[name]Tessa[/name] [name]Kathleen[/name]
[name]Tessa[/name] [name]Wren[/name]
[name]Tessa[/name] [name]Audrey[/name]
[name]Tessa[/name] [name]Lorelei[/name]
[name]Tessa[/name] [name]Eleanor[/name]
[name]Tessa[/name] [name]Charlotte[/name]

[name]Sadie[/name] is cute too but I feel like it’s a nn for [name]Sarah[/name] or maybe [name]Seraphina[/name] or [name]Isadora[/name].

I love [name]Tessa[/name], nn [name]Tess[/name]! I find [name]Sadie[/name] much more nickname-y, although I know [name]Tessa[/name] is traditionally a nn for [name]Theresa[/name].

As far as middles, I think anything goes, pretty much!
[name]Tessa[/name] [name]Miriam[/name]
[name]Tessa[/name] [name]Penelope[/name]
[name]Tessa[/name] [name]Gwendolen[/name]
[name]Tessa[/name] [name]Gabrielle[/name]

…[name]Just[/name] to get you started!

Thank u girls!! Wow, excellent feedback.

As for [name]Sadie[/name], I agree, it’s so cute but It does sound a bit to nicknamey for me. It’a the “ie” ending that bugs me a little. It might not be for me.

[name]Eloise[/name] - we both really love this name. Has so much character and is a very sweet name. Sometimes though, I find the wheeze end sound a bit harsh and makes me question whether or not I find this name to be pretty. The [name]Ellie[/name] nn also really bothers me. It’s popular and I just don’t like it. [name]Elle[/name] I love though but I know nn’s are not something in my
Control and honestly, it’s not something I even want to worry about or try to control. So
A strike against lovely [name]Eloise[/name], albeit…a small one.

[name]Tessa[/name] - really, I think this may be my perfect name. Absolutely love the nn and full name. It’s nicknamey but not in a bad way I don’t think. It stands well it’s own and has such a pretty soft elegant sound without trying to hard. My ONLY worry is that it doesn’t have enough spunk/character/pizzaz. That it’s “boring” so to speak. But I’m overcoming that perception. And all the great feedback helps so much! I want it to be a name that catch people off guard but in a good way. A name that makes most people
Smile.

Middle names! I [name]LOVE[/name] [name]Tessa[/name] [name]Juliet[/name]. Wow, just gorgeous. Also what do u girls think about [name]Tessa[/name] [name]Pearl[/name]?

Thanks again!

[name]Love[/name] it! [name]Both[/name] [name]Tessa[/name] and [name]Tess[/name]. Though I lean a little bit to preferring [name]Esther[/name] (nn [name]Tess[/name]).
I think it works well for a girl and a woman, it’s simple and lovely and hard to misspell.

I was never a huge fan of [name]Tessa[/name], but my cousin has an adopted daughter named [name]Tessa[/name]; and she’s a lovely little girl. Now, I sort of see it as a name that has both romance and femininity in it. [name]Sadie[/name] is a fun name too, but I always think “Sexy [name]Sadie[/name]” when I hear it. :-S And [name]Eloise[/name] is so cute, but I agree…I would HATE if pp called my little [name]Eloise[/name] “[name]Ellie[/name]”.

I like [name]Tessa[/name] much better than [name]Sadie[/name].

Thanks so much! I also see [name]Tessa[/name] as feminine and romantic. Exactly what I’m
Looking for. But glad it’s not long and frilly as those types
Of names are great too, but they create all sorts of unwanted nicknames for me. Haha

[name]Tessa[/name] is my stepdaughters name…it is beautiful and I love that you don’t hear it alot. She by far fits the name
As far as middle names…Im not any good at that, although I do think a one syllable MN would work best. Congrats and good luck!
