[name]Ian[/name] [name]Gray[/name] “[name]Robinson[/name]”? I loved [name]Asa[/name], husband loved [name]Enoch[/name] - I feel like we need to start over and throw both of those names out! We have a son named [name]Noah[/name] [name]Ryan[/name], and I think [name]Noah[/name] and [name]Ian[/name] go well together. My only thing is that my husband’s name is [name]Daniel[/name], so we have a men of the bible theme going with him and [name]Noah[/name]. [name]Ian[/name] is Scottish for [name]John[/name], which is a strong bible name. Is that a stretch?
Not at all. It’s a cool name, is softly masculine like brother [name]Noah[/name], and they’re roughly equal in popularity ([name]Noah[/name] is probably slightly more popular than [name]Ian[/name]).
I think I mentioned my thoughts on both [name]Asa[/name] and [name]Enoch[/name] on another thread. I think they’re both way in the back of the name closet currently; I think [name]Enoch[/name] has a chance of becoming more popular and accepted, but it’s not there yet. [name]Noah[/name] is a pretty common name nowadays and not very tease-able. Brother [name]Enoch[/name] might resent brother [name]Noah[/name] for getting a ‘cooler’ name. [name]Ian[/name] and [name]Noah[/name] are very well matched in that respect.
