What do you all think of the name Lysandra? Its a new find for me. I am loving the name right now. I love the meaning too.

I love Lysandra! Personally, I doubt I would be bold enough to use this name on any of my children if I do decide to have any, but I think it’s melodic, with numerous nickname options if she wants but nothing that immediately jumps out so she could go by the full deal. I also like the [name_m]Shakespeare[/name_m] connection, as a huge literature nerd. A strong, distinctive name. I think it pairs perfectly with [name_f]Lucy[/name_f]. I am a lover of alliteration, and I like the balance between classic, popular [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] and bold, daring Lysandra.

I’ve got a niece called Lysandra, so it’s familiar to me. I think it’s okay, not great, not bad either. If I’m completely honest, her older sister has a name I strongly dislike, so I was pleasantly surprised when they named her Lysandra.
