[name]Louisa[/name] is amazingggg-- and you have the option for nn of “[name]Lou[/name]” or “[name]Lulu[/name]” while still having a gorgeous, storybook, classic name as the backbone. We’re having a girl in [name]January[/name] and I’ve started a new “[name]Louisa[/name]” campaign with my husband… I’ll keep you posted!
Good luck with your husband! I’ve loved the name ever since I saw The Sound of [name]Music[/name]. One of the daughters (not a very well known one, though) is named [name]Louisa[/name]. It’s also [name]German[/name] which I love because of my [name]German[/name] heritage. And it has such sweet nickname
possibilities. Again, best of luck! 
My favourite is definitely [name]Florence[/name]. It’s sweet, elegant, classic and ages really well. Plus you have the nickname [name]Flo[/name] which is really cute on a child. [name]Louisa[/name] is a close second though. It’s also elegant and classy, but I just like [name]Florence[/name] better. I feel [name]Lisa[/name] is really dated and I’ve never really liked [name]Lydia[/name].
