What Do You Think?

I’m considering the names [name]Tayla[/name] or Taylin. I really like both of them, but my sister says they sound like “redneck” names. What do you all think? [name]Do[/name] you like one or the other? [name]Both[/name]? Neither? [name]Just[/name] looking for some input, so if you love or hate, just let me know!

I really don’t like either. I’m not too clued up on the term ‘red neck’ as I’m from the UK but here they would be considered very downmarket and trashy. To be honest looking at your signature you have children named [name]Rebecca[/name] and [name]Elijah[/name], I seriously couldn’t imagine them with a sister named [name]Tayla[/name] or Taylin. They’re very trendy and if you take into account similar names they are very popular; [name]Taylor[/name], [name]Baylee[/name], [name]Kaylee[/name], [name]Jaylee[/name] etc.

[name]Taylor[/name] with the spelling [name]Tayla[/name] is still top 100 in Australia. The name [name]Taylor[/name]/[name]Tayla[/name] is very popular in the 16-22 age group and less popular now for babies.
I prefer [name]Tayla[/name] over Taylin as Taylin sounds masculine to me.

I really don’t like either and think they don’t go well with your other kids names. It sounds like [name]Taylor[/name] just said with a New [name]York[/name] accent or something.

I’m not crazy about them either, to be honest. I don’t see them as redneck necessarily (as I would [name]Tanya[/name]), but they’re just NMS. And I agree with the others that they don’t seem to fit well with your others kids’ names.

I prefer [name]Tayla[/name] to Taylin. I think it is a very sweet name for a girl.

[name]Don[/name]'t really like either one sorry, but prefer [name]Tayla[/name] to Taylin. What do you think of [name]Ayla[/name]?? A Hebrew name to go with [name]Rebecca[/name] and [name]Elijah[/name]

I prefer [name]Tayla[/name] of the two, but as many others have said, I’m not a fan of either one really

Thank you all so much for your input!!! I actually heard both names in two different Lifetime movies, and I was just curious what others thought.
