I met an adorable little girl, and her name was [name]Chesney[/name]. Usually I wouldn’t have liked this name, but I thought it was so cute on her. What are some thoughts on this name? I also like it spelled [name]Chesnea[/name], that way it isn’t as close to the country singer [name]Kenny[/name].
Not my style, but I could see it being cute on someone else’s daughter. It will forever be associated with country music, which is a turn-off to me. I prefer the more feminine and lyrical [name]Chelsea[/name], which I think has a more beautiful ring to it, though I know most people would consider it too dated. Also reminds me of the name Kesley–not [name]Kelsey[/name], K-e-s-l-e-y. I know someone with that name. Prefer both of those to [name]Chesney[/name], but [name]Chesney[/name] seems trendier and more contemporary.
I think no matter how you cut it, I would think of [name]Kenny[/name] [name]Chesney[/name] immediately when you say it. I like the look of it better as [name]Chesney[/name]. I agree with alzora, I can see it being cute on another little girl.
I don’t like the name at all, it makes me think of the word cheesy!
