A friend of mine suggested the name [name]Olivia[/name] [name]Leigh[/name]-[name]Ellen[/name]…What do you think?
If you don’t like it, [name]How[/name] could I make it better?
The baby’s last name is Reid!
Are [name]Leigh[/name] and [name]Ellen[/name] honoring family members? If so, then I think it is fine. I don’t totally love the flow, but I love honor names so in that case, I think it works.
[name]Ellen[/name] is honoring grandma and I’m not sure about [name]Leigh[/name]!
If [name]Ellen[/name] is a family name and [name]Leigh[/name] isn’t, I’d stick with [name]Olivia[/name] [name]Ellen[/name]. I’m not a huge fan of double or hyphenated middle names unless it was to honor family.
Thanks! I’ll check with my mom as I’m unsure whether [name]Leigh[/name] is a family member’s name or not!
I agree with sjpmama. I think that [name]Olivia[/name] [name]Ellen[/name] looks better. However, if [name]Leigh[/name] is a family name, I would use it too. What about leaving out the hyphen so it is just [name]Olivia[/name] [name]Leigh[/name] [name]Ellen[/name] [name]Reid[/name]?
[name]Leigh[/name] [name]Ellen[/name] run together too much. It sounds like I’m saying [name]Lee[/name]-elle N. With the last name, the whole combo sounds choppy.
I love [name]Olivia[/name] [name]Ellen[/name]! Gorgeous and classic. Not a fan of throwing [name]Leigh[/name] in there.
[name]Love[/name] [name]Olivia[/name] [name]Ellen[/name], or [name]Olivia[/name] [name]Eleanor[/name]… I am not crazy of the flow with [name]Leigh[/name]…
[name]Even[/name] if [name]Leigh[/name] is a family name, I see no need to hyphenate it with [name]Ellen[/name]. Hyphens are for inferring you want the child to be called by both names - [name]Sarah[/name]-[name]Jane[/name] would get called as such, [name]Sarah[/name] [name]Jane[/name] would be more likely to just get [name]Sarah[/name]. I really like the combo of [name]Olivia[/name] [name]Ellen[/name] though, love [name]Ellen[/name]. I’m not too sure of the flow of [name]Olivia[/name] [name]Leigh[/name] [name]Ellen[/name], it’s a bit too L heavy, but then [name]Olivia[/name] [name]Ellen[/name] [name]Leigh[/name] isn’t any better.
Thank you!
