Hey Berries!
So I have been trying to decide on a few new combos; but since I like two middle names I find it quite hard - plus I also imagine that when I get married, my husband will use a middle name to honour his family.
So these are the ones I am liking so far:
[name_f]Clara[/name_f] [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f] - (Prn. [name_u]Clair[/name_u]-UH [name_f]Em[/name_f]-UH-line) [name_f]Clara[/name_f] honours a good friend of mine as her middle name is [name_u]Clare[/name_u], I love the connection to The Nutcracker, it’s an all time favourite and the first ballet I ever saw. [name_f]One[/name_f] of my middle name is [name_f]Emily[/name_f], so it would been nice to carry on the name, plus my Mum loves the nickname [name_f]Emme[/name_f] and I could see myself using this combo or a reversed version.
[name_f]Estella[/name_f] [name_f]Pearl[/name_f] - This one isn’t new, just a long time favourite. [name_f]Estella[/name_f] honours childhood memories of looking out at the stars and remembering those who had passed on. So in a way it encompasses honouring all my ancestors. [name_f]Pearl[/name_f] honours my great-grandmother and great-great grandmother.
[name_f]Elisabeth[/name_f] [name_u]Day[/name_u] - I love [name_f]Elisabeth[/name_f], nickname [name_f]Lissie[/name_f], [name_f]Ellie[/name_f] or maybe even [name_f]Elsie[/name_f]/[name_f]Else[/name_f] ! [name_f]Elisabeth[/name_f] is a family name and [name_u]Day[/name_u] is after a song that has significant meaning to me. This one feels vintage, but it may be a tad too plain.
[name_f]Mirabel[/name_f] [name_f]Katerina[/name_f]- I like [name_f]Mira[/name_f] particularly, but no one seems very fond of it. I also think [name_f]Mirabel[/name_f] is very pretty, but its a brand of light bulb where I live. Does that matter? This was a combo I made up just then. [name_f]Catharina[/name_f] is a family name, but I prefer this spelling.
[name_f]Miriam[/name_f] [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] nickname [name_f]Minnie[/name_f] - I think [name_f]Miriam[/name_f] is very sweet, I met a girl with this name a while back and she was absolutely lovely! I adore [name_f]Aurora[/name_f], it also has family significance.
[name_f]Ida[/name_f] ? - I love [name_f]Ida[/name_f] (prn. Eye-DAH) but I can’t think of a middle name that works well.
[name_f]Ada[/name_f] - See above.
Opinions? Any other suggestions? I particularly love Slavic/European names either short and sweet or long and romantic! Thank Berries
