Really struggling with names and only 27 days till due date, eashk! What do you think of the following names (surname is [name_m]King[/name_m] which is a dangerous one for shortened versions of names…trust me, my name is [name_u]Jo[/name_u]!):
I want something cool but not mental - we live in [name_f]Scotland[/name_f] and no one has out there names where I live!
[name_m]Harvey[/name_m] Raigan [name_m]King[/name_m]
[name_u]Charlie[/name_u] [name_m]King[/name_m] (does it need a middle name?)
I can see why you’re struggling, I love all of them, both boy and girl!
I would prefer [name_u]Charlie[/name_u] though if I had to choose, and I don’t think it needs a middle name.
And I love [name_f]India[/name_f], and [name_f]Amelia[/name_f], and I also really like the middle name [name_f]Joy[/name_f] so I can’t choose.
Maybe its best to have your options and once you meet your baby you might think ‘you look like a [name_m]Harvey[/name_m]’
I had a terrible dream the other night where my baby didn’t look like ANY of my options, and the doctor had told me it was a girl but I remember thinking ‘this baby looks like a boy! im going to check if it’s a girl when the doctor is gone’ oh dear haha
[name_u]Charlie[/name_u] and [name_f]Amelia[/name_f] are my favorites, although I like [name_m]Charles[/name_m] nicknamed [name_u]Charlie[/name_u] better. [name_u]Charlie[/name_u] [name_m]King[/name_m] is very cute! But I would suggest a middle name.
I think they all work well. My favorites are [name_m]Charles[/name_m] nn [name_u]Charlie[/name_u] ([name_m]Charles[/name_m] Raigan [name_m]King[/name_m]?) and [name_f]Amelia[/name_f] [name_f]Joy[/name_f].
[/b]prefer [name_u]Reagan[/name_u] if that is what you are going for
(see? someone shouldnt have to question/guess what you meant to name your kid) in this day and age i have to also wonder if its Ryegan
[name_u]Charlie[/name_u] [name_m]King[/name_m] - YES IT NEEDS A MIDDLE. AND NEEDS TO BE [name_m]CHARLES[/name_m], nn [name_u]Charlie[/name_u].
will a grown man want to forever be little [name_u]Charlie[/name_u]?
[name_f]India[/name_f] [name_f]May[/name_f] [name_m]King[/name_m] - india has come and gone…very very dated
[name_f]Amelia[/name_f] [name_f]Joy[/name_f] [name_m]King[/name_m] - like [name_f]Amelia[/name_f], [name_f]Joy[/name_f] is just okay, prefer [name_f]Amelia[/name_f] [name_f]May[/name_f]
[name_f]India[/name_f] [name_f]May[/name_f] is sublime A truly beautiful name! I also love the name [name_f]Scotland[/name_f] for either a boy or girl.
However, I’m not really into [name_m]Harvey[/name_m]/ [name_u]Charlie[/name_u]…I would prefer [name_u]Jameson[/name_u] with your last name. Other choices for a boy:
[name_u]Charlie[/name_u] and [name_f]India[/name_f] are my favourites.
[name_u]Charlie[/name_u] certainly doesn’t have to be [name_m]Charles[/name_m] if you don’t want it to be. In [name_f]Scotland[/name_f], [name_u]Charlie[/name_u] is currently at #12 whereas [name_m]Charles[/name_m] is at #121. [name_u]Charlie[/name_u]'s fine on its own. But I would give it a middle though, if you’re giving all the other names a middle. [name_u]Charlie[/name_u] [name_m]Jack[/name_m], [name_u]Charlie[/name_u] [name_m]Alexander[/name_m], [name_u]Charlie[/name_u] [name_m]Thomas[/name_m] and [name_u]Charlie[/name_u] [name_m]George[/name_m] all sound very handsome to me
[name_m]Harvey[/name_m] Raigan - This name feels different to your other names [name_f]IMO[/name_f]. I don’t want to seem horrible, but it’s trendy and I don’t think either name has a very good image, at least not in my corner of [name_f]England[/name_f]
[name_f]India[/name_f] [name_f]May[/name_f] - Certainly isn’t dated. I don’t know what the above poster is on about- [name_f]India[/name_f]'s been steadily on the rise in the UK for about 20 years. I think [name_f]India[/name_f] [name_f]May[/name_f] is a lovely combo and [name_f]India[/name_f] and [name_u]Charlie[/name_u] make a great sibset.
[name_f]Amelia[/name_f] [name_f]Joy[/name_f] - A nice combo ([name_f]Joy[/name_f] is a lovely middle name) but I just like [name_f]India[/name_f] much better. Can’t go wrong with an [name_f]Amelia[/name_f] though.
