I’m only 13 and half weeks pregnant and we already have our baby names! My husband was pretty easy when it came to the “name” talk. I’ll post them below and you can tell me what you think of them. You can blunt or however you feel, you won’t hurt any feelings. (:
If it’s a boy:
[name_m]Ezra[/name_m] [name_m]Matthias[/name_m]
My husband picked out the first name and I picked out the middle. Surprisingly, I thought he did a great job picking out a gorgeous name with strong biblical roots! I’ve always loved the name [name_m]Matthias[/name_m] which also has biblical roots but not enough to really clash with [name_m]Ezra[/name_m].
If it’s a girl:
[name_u]Shiloh[/name_u] [name_f]Ann[/name_f]
This was our hardest name to figure out. We both hated girly names and didn’t agree on ANY OTHER NAME besides this one. I was the one back and forth but he had his heart set on [name_u]Shiloh[/name_u]. The name [name_f]Ann[/name_f] has a ton of meaning to us since both our mother’s middle names are [name_f]Ann[/name_f]. We wanted something special since they both really want a girl lol.
I think [name_m]Ezra[/name_m] [name_m]Matthias[/name_m] is a great name! As for the girls’ name, I personally don’t like [name_u]Shiloh[/name_u] - it’s always been a dog name for me. With that being said, though, I still think it’s perfectly fine. That’s just my personal taste. I think [name_f]Ann[/name_f] is beautiful, and I love that it means a lot to you. Either way, I think both names are completely fine!
Congratulations on your Pregnancy and speedy Name Choices! Although neither of your First Name choices are my taste, I [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] your Middle Name choices (my Mum is [name_f]Anne[/name_f]!) and think that both combinations of Names work BEAUTIFULLY! YAY YOU TWO!
Looking at your Signature I love SO MANY of your Names and would [name_u]LOVE[/name_u]:
[name_m]Felix[/name_m] [name_m]Matthias[/name_m] and [name_f]Florence[/name_f] [name_f]Ann/name_f best of all!
Congratulations on your Pregnancy. I love both names.
[name_m]Ezra[/name_m] [name_m]Matthias[/name_m] - both names feel masculine yet calm. I get the calming feel from their endings. I find [name_m]Ezra[/name_m] popular but not so much that it is unbearable and unusable. Your husband did well! The only thing I dislike is it does feel very biblical but it is not a massive negative.
[name_u]Shiloh[/name_u] [name_f]Ann[/name_f] - [name_u]Shiloh[/name_u] is a gorgeous looking and sounding name. I feel the combo is feminine without being over the top. [name_f]Honour[/name_f] names are the best middle names and simple and feminine [name_f]Ann[/name_f] makes the combo that touch more classic, in my opinion.
[name_m]Ezra[/name_m] [name_m]Matthias[/name_m] is a total winner you did a really good job balancing out those sounds. [name_u]Shiloh[/name_u] [name_f]Ann[/name_f] is a little clunky to me because they are so different stylistically, I probably would traded [name_u]Shiloh[/name_u] for [name_f]Cherie[/name_f] or [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f], that has the same ‘sh’ sound but looks a little more in-keeping with [name_f]Ann[/name_f] ([name_f]Cherie[/name_f] [name_f]Ann[/name_f] or [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_f]Ann[/name_f]).
I think they are both very great names! [name_u]Love[/name_u] the name [name_m]Ezra[/name_m] [name_m]Matthias[/name_m] for a boy I’ve always loved the name [name_u]Shiloh[/name_u] for a girl just sounds like a sweet shy girl type of name <3
