WDYT of the name [name_u]Beau[/name_u]? would you use it as a first name or does it need a more traditional/common name as a first name and put it in the middle spot? could still call him “beau” even with another name as first name? so call him by the middle name? how do you think this name would be perceived in european countries other than the UK?
I like [name_u]Beau[/name_u] mostly as a nn, perhaps for [name_m]Boden[/name_m] or [name_m]Bodhi[/name_m]
I’m not sure how it’d be seen around Europe but I think [name_u]Beau[/name_u] is charming, and can stand on its own as a first name. I generally prefer [name_u]Bo[/name_u] spelling wise but [name_u]Beau[/name_u] does seem more complete of a spelling for its own name. I understand there are people who go by their middle name but it seems like it would be a tad confusing.
[name_u]Beau[/name_u] is fine as a first name as long as it works well with the last name. I think it is best to choose a two or three syllable middle name and if you are going to call him [name_u]Beau[/name_u], put it in the first name spot on the birth certificate.
I love [name_u]Beau[/name_u]! I would use it as a full first name.
