What does everyone think of

[name_u]Asher[/name_u] [name_m]Cohen[/name_m]

Asher is nice but [name_m]Cohen[/name_m] is controversial as it’s considered offensive to Jewish people

Asher–I love this. [name_u]Happy[/name_u]-sounding, which matches the wonderful meaning!

Cohen–A definite no-go for me, I’m sorry. There are some good threads here about this topic if you’re interested!

Here’s a post that talks about the issues with the name [name_m]Cohen[/name_m], so I wouldn’t personally use it. [name_u]Asher[/name_u] is super cute though.

I like the way the names sound together. But as others pointed out [name_m]Cohen[/name_m] isn’t usable unless you are Jewish I believe? I have seen [name_m]Cohen[/name_m] growing in usage so I dont think a lot of people realize this but its good to educate yourself on the names you are considering so its good you asked!

What about:

Asher [name_m]Conan[/name_m]
[name_u]Asher[/name_u] [name_m]Colin[/name_m]
[name_u]Asher[/name_u] [name_m]Conlin[/name_m]
[name_u]Asher[/name_u] [name_u]Callum[/name_u]
[name_u]Asher[/name_u] [name_m]Conan[/name_m]
[name_u]Asher[/name_u] [name_u]Callahan[/name_u]
[name_u]Asher[/name_u] [name_m]Cristian[/name_m]
[name_u]Asher[/name_u] [name_m]Coleman[/name_m]
[name_u]Asher[/name_u] [name_m]Conway[/name_m]

Thank you me and my husband has decided not to use [name_m]Cohen[/name_m]

Asher Cowan or [name_u]Asher[/name_u] [name_u]Rowan[/name_u] might also be good alternates with similar sounds.

May I recommend [name_m]Koen[/name_m] as a middle? It’s a legitimate [name_m]Dutch[/name_m] name, completely unrelated to [name_m]Cohen[/name_m]. [name_u]Asher[/name_u] [name_m]Koen[/name_m] looks cool and sounds nice.
