We are expecting our 3rd and just can not decide on a name. Our last name is one syllable. Our other 2 children are [name]Evan[/name] and [name]Lauryn[/name]. On our list is : [name]Samantha[/name] (nn [name]Sam[/name]), [name]Alison[/name], [name]Alexa[/name], and [name]Genevieve[/name]. I think [name]Genevieve[/name] sounds maybe to formal with my other kids. I have always loved [name]Jenna[/name] but it is my sil’s name. [name]Kathryn[/name]/[name]Kate[/name] is another fab but again a sil name.
I don’t think [name]Genevieve[/name] sounds too formal, but can understand not wanting to double up on [name]Jenna[/name]. My second choice from your list would be [name]Alexa[/name].

I like [name]Alison[/name] nn [name]Allie[/name] or [name]Genevieve[/name] nn [name]Evie[/name] to make it less formal.
I think [name]Alison[/name] sounds great with the other two and they would share an “n” ending 
I think [name]Alison[/name] [name]Genevieve[/name] would be really cute!
I think you should pick the name you adore the most because you don’t want to regret it down the road. Since your last name is only one syllable I think a longer first name goes great.
[name]Alexa[/name] is nice… [name]How[/name] about [name]Brenna[/name] it rhythms with [name]Jenna[/name]… I am not a fan of [name]Genevieve[/name]
