I have a list of boys names that my husband and I generally agree on. I also know the middle name must be “Noir”. Our last name rhymes with “book”, and after reading all the names off I just can’t decide what sounds best. I like unique or rarely used names. I don’t want to end up with a [name]Jayden[/name] (nothing against the name it’s just too popular). So here is my list, feel free to suggest some as well. I also thought up a name; it’s basically [name]Himalaya[/name] but a male version, Himalayees. [name]How[/name] would I “macho” the spelling of that up?
[name]Arrow[/name] Noir Book
[name]Apollo[/name] Noir Book
[name]Aurelius[/name] Noir Book
[name]Tiberius[/name] Noir Book
[name]North[/name] Noir Book
[name]Homer[/name] Noir Book
[name]Griffin[/name] Noir Book
[name]Finn[/name] Noir Book
Atreyu Noir Book
What about Himalayan? You could also go with [name]Everest[/name], [name]Rush[/name], or [name]Hilliard[/name] to stay in the idea. I really like [name]Arrow[/name] Noir, [name]Tiberius[/name] Noir and Atreyu Noir. I’m not sure why Atreyu isn’t on this site. It’s one of my favorite names.
[name]Tiberius[/name] Noir Book is quite handsome and my favorite of your choices by far. [name]Griffin[/name] and [name]Finn[/name] are nice too, but are the most popular of your options.
[name]Apollo[/name] and [name]Aurelius[/name] are ok as well.
I really don’t care for Atreyu and [name]Homer[/name]. [name]Arrow[/name] and [name]North[/name] are quite usable word names, but pairing them with Noir is a little much.
Since Noir and perhaps your LN are both word names (I can only think of words that rhyme with book: cook, look, sook, nook, rook, hook…), I would choose a first name that isn’t a word name. I don’t mean to be square; I do like word names. But I think you have lots of cool options that aren’t word names, and you’ve already got one or two in his name.
[name]Aurelius[/name], [name]Tiberius[/name], [name]Homer[/name], and [name]Griffin[/name] are my favorites; you could even use [name]Finn[/name] as a nn for [name]Griffin[/name], which is cool. If you like [name]Griffin[/name], but want a less popular version, what about [name]Griffith[/name]? I also love [name]Aurelius[/name] (nn [name]Lio[/name]?) and [name]Tiberius[/name] (nn [name]Bear[/name] or Tibe). I think [name]Apollo[/name] could work fine; it just seems to me a little like it’s trying too hard. I also think Atreyu could be a challenge to spell and pronounce for most people. Other ideas:
[name]Ulysses[/name] or [name]Odysseus[/name]
[name]Joachim[/name] or [name]Joaquin[/name]
[name]Tibor[/name]
[name]Auberon[/name] or [name]Oberon[/name]
[name]Aeneas[/name]
I do like [name]Griffin[/name], because Husband does not like “[name]Finn[/name]”, so we could do that as a nn. I also like [name]Bear[/name] as a nn for [name]Tiberius[/name]; the only nn I could think of was [name]Ty[/name] :-/
